Question:	Can i use screws to attach to stud
Answer:	Screws aren't needed since it sticks really well with a strong hold to any flat surface. (I regularly use mine for my iPad mini, and most cases leave my iPad in the holder for days at a time with no tilt or budge in hold.) You COULD drill holes through the base I guess, but i don't know why you'd want to. Having said that, I ended up changing my location from a flat mirror to a textured wall where it didn't hold. So my work around was screwing a thin circular piece of plexiglass slightly larger than the base to the wall, and then stuck the base to THAT. Worked perfectly. Not sure if this helps answer your question?

Answer:	with all honesty im not 100% sure but if it can fit iphone and ipad and can handle my phones phone case thickness similair to an otterbox, i dont see why it wont hold a ipad with an otterbox.

Answer:	it depends on the pressure.I purchased several different stands and this is one is excellent.It is very stable when used with normal pressure. It will wiggle somewhat if abnormally higher pressure is applied to the screen.
