Answer:	The adhesive used here is a typical Command brand mounting tape. I have not tried mounting it in the shower, but you can try mounting something in the shower with one of these mounting tapes by picking one up at a local store like Target. I suspect you will have the best luck if you thoroughly dry and clean the mounting surface, mount the item, and keep it dry for a couple days to secure the mount.
