Answer: S model has a circle hole in the back compared to the A1 with an oval hole. In terms of the logo placement, the S has the logo on the back and the A1 has the logo in the front. The A1 was released on Amazon after the S and is also wider and taller but depth is less. Both weigh the same. The front pieces you'll see cover up more of the iPad compared to the A1.

Answer: I haven’t had a problem with sound or people hearing me during a conversation

Answer: Ipad Pro, yes. I believe the Otterbox would make the unit to thick to be stable in the cradle.

Answer: It’s about 6 1/4 inches from base to max height. I love it. I use it when I work at home, as we have video phones. It keeps it from falling down. I do add a book under if needed to make it a bit higher.
