Answer:	This is for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) (SM-T510 Model). Specifically the 2019 version and specifically model SM-T510. I would not think it would fit a model 517. If you search amazon for your model number you should be able to find one that will definitely fit. Good luck.
