Answer:	I am pretty sure this will not fit an iPad. As far as I know there are no iPads with an 8" screen. The closest one comes to that is the iPad Mini (the newer model) with a 7.9" screen. You did not say what iPad you have. What you should do on Amazon is search for a screen protector with the "name" of your iPad. Regular iPads are named as to their "generation." There are many sites which will help you use your iPad serial number to find what generation it may be. But if, as I suspect from your question, it is a Mini then it is one of four models. But this screen protector (which I do have installed on my HD8) is great but not iPad compatible.
