Answer:	This mostly diffuses light and is good for privacy issues. So you still get quite a bit of light coming thru, tho not glare. At night, headlights are even more diffused, so the light is more 'spread out' than if it came thru the clear glass. You sort of end up with more light than without it - it's more spread out versus a more focused headlight. What it does best, is serve to give you privacy. You can't see in, you just see shadows and shapes. This is more for privacy than to reduce glare. But it does help with the glare some.

Answer:	Yes, but I would buy the stabilizer bar. I use mine everyday for work and it's pretty strong, I sway the top bar in / out of my lap all day long (light tension on the tension piece). The standard arm gives good left / right strength, but the stabilizer helps with the brake / accelerate gravity. These things should be sold together. I like the whole setup, but keep an eye on all the little adjustment knobs, they regularly undo themselves and you'll find them on your floor. Other than that, it's a good buy.

Answer:	I'm not sure what the Silverado is. I would recommend a type that has more than one support to the floor for additional stability. Mine works well if parked but driving around needs more floor support. Guess it depends on how you are going to use it. I set mine up in the morning and drive about 30 miles a day over rough terrain. If you are staying on the pavement you'll be fine, if not you'll want a sturdier model.
