Answer:	It is 6" long, front to back; 3" wide, and 3 3/4" high. It's good & heavy. I have to retract my approval - after a few days, the point of the pencil has wood all the way down to the point on one side, and no matter how I insert the pencil, it is "lopsided." Very disappointing!

Answer:	I don't think it's cotton, but it does stay in place and is incredibly comfortable. I have bought four of these so far, and will probably buy more as gifts for people.

Answer:	Depends on what you consider too much room. It will be approx. 12 x 7 x 5, the 5 inches thick (because the blanket is in there when not blown up) would be the space hog. I hung on the outside of my backpack/suitcase. It has a strap on the back/outside that is meant for slipping it over your suitcase handle when it is rolling. I just used a carabineer and attached it to my back pack. I think it is a great set, the big plus being how big the pillow inflates to. Hope that helps!
