There are several other official designations of this same model which I'm convinced are designed to confuse, but the bottom line is as Olivia previously answered it fits Models A 1822 & A 1823. (Shown on the back of the iPad) For you suspenders and belt people it fits iPads with the dimensions 9.4" x 6.9" x 0.29".

Answer:	I think someone else answered this. If you go to the back corner where the flip cover is attached to the back cover, you can carefully push and remove the ipad. It takes finesse. Not as easy as other covers but then again other covers I've had have been too loose.
