So you do need that TW modem in addition to this unit and a cable box for TW triple play, but your only equipment fee if you have your own modem is for the cable box / DVR. I am using this modem and a TW modem with a high bandwidth splitter and good, short coax patch cables (or you can use different cable wall outlets for phone and Internet if you prefer) with TW triple play, and am not charged any monthly rental fee for Internet or phone hardware. According to https://www.att.com/support_static_files/manuals/ATT_Velocity_MF923.pdf this MiFi supports: 4G/LTE-Bands: Band 2 Band 4 Band 5 Band 17 Band 29 3G/UMTS/HSPA+ -Bands: Band 1 Band 2 Band 5 It does not matter if the MiFi supports more than your Telecom Provider, but the MiFi needs to support all the Bands the Telecom Provider may use. If not, you may have limited or no connectivity.

Answer:	We use this device as our WiFi in Colorado and our home in Mexico. We have no problem streaming. Our service is provided by at&t. The provider has more to do with the service you recei.

Answer:	It won't. I'm from the US and bought this item to be used Germany. When I tried to activate it it required me to have a UK address.

Answer:	No! You dont get any data after you use 12GB of data

Question:	Ordered as unlocked. Delivered locked! How do you unlock it
Answer:	...It does not defeat the purpose of T-Mobile Home Internet. A MOFI is way better than the terrible 4g router tmo provides you. Take the sim card from that (crappy) router and put it in the MOFI and your choice of antenna.
Question:	Does it have a battery? it says battery required
Answer:	at the end of the cable, you need to have an SMA male connector (with a point at the end) that would go in the primary antenna connection
Question:	Will this work with verizon or visible after unlocked
Answer:	It does not support 5G it supports 3G/4G and LTE. I would recommend you use your phone and run a "speed test" to see what kinds of speeds you can expect to get in the area you want to use it. I use Verizon and am very happy with the data speeds I am getting and it is a very rural area.
Question:	Is this item unlocked
Answer:	No it will not work that way, in fact it may work for a while (maybe a day a week or few weeks) but then one morning you will wake up to a NO INTERNET :) even a data only hotspot plan will no longer work on these routers, probably some networks blacklisted the IMEI of MOFI routers , so you will not receive any signal!!! ....However, you can get it registered to Verizon and get a 15G data plan for $85, after the 15G, you will get 600mbps speed which is terrible....
