Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.

Question:	Does this actually support 5ghz? the amazon page says a/b/g/n, but then only lists 2.4. 802.11a is 5ghz only
Answer:	THis picture isn't like the extender I purchased. The one I got is white and was mounted in m y sunroom. However, the electrical plug quit working and I had to move in out in my breezeway. So far so good. Think I will put some kind of protection between it and the north open wall near it. Only time will tell how the exposure affects it.

When you get your red LAN light and small blue wireless light, you need to then connect to that WIRLESS-XXXX network either from a mobile phone or a laptop or something else. Then open a browser and that will take you to the setup page where you can connect it to your home network WIFI and name the extender, set password etc.... Mobile devices I think open up that setup page for you via their browser, a laptop would have to be pointed at it. If memory serves, the IP of the extender is 192.168.3.9 or 192.168.3.109 by default- if you enter this in the address bar of you browser it should open up the setup page

Answer:	I can't say for certain, but I know that it won't work with Android TV's which are similar. It's not the wifi card's fault, rather I find that 10 times out of 10 it's the TV/device is not capable of supporting an external adapter. This is the case with even the nVidia Shield TV. If you're looking to extend your range, I found the Xiaomi USB WiFi adapter is a very good bang for the buck. It's around $12 and works so well I own 3 of them, likely buying another soon as they keep getting adopted by friends and family.
