Question:	Does this actually support 5ghz? the amazon page says a/b/g/n, but then only lists 2.4. 802.11a is 5ghz only
Answer:	THis picture isn't like the extender I purchased. The one I got is white and was mounted in m y sunroom. However, the electrical plug quit working and I had to move in out in my breezeway. So far so good. Think I will put some kind of protection between it and the north open wall near it. Only time will tell how the exposure affects it.

Answer:	I can only comment on the 1900. For my needs it's perfect. I needed a router with long range, my house is apprx 3000sq with multiple floors. Certain areas of the house fell out of the range of my old Linksys. With the 1900 all my devices generate a full signal anywhere in the house and even outside in the back yard. The 1900 appears to handle multiple devices with no degradation of signal or speed. Since you didn't say what your needs are I can't comment further.

Answer:	the Archer C90 is a new edition of Archer C1900, and the software functions of the 2 routers are the same while the sales channel may be different. for example, A9 is available for the online stores only, like Amazon or so. Archer C90 supports fat32、ntfs、exfat、hfs+, A9 supports NTFS,FAT32 only.

Question:	What kind and where qould you get a simm card for this unit
Answer:	Yes it works just fine using the ethernet port on your desktop connected directly to the Mobile Hotspot Router. I have even connected a multi-port Ethernet router and sent the Hotspot connection to other wired equipment.
Question:	Does this device work with Mint Mobile
Answer:	I have used mine with T-Mobile, Ting, Mint Mobile and "Onesimcards" onesimcard.com. ALL of them provide voice/text/and data services without any trouble when they are installed in this Mobile Hotspot Router. I agree their might be an issue regarding data speeds. In my situation I do not have a data only sim to experiment with.
Question:	What is the voltage
Answer:	Verizon uses bands 2, 4,5 , 13, 66 depending on what tower you are located by. This device supports all but 13, which is the main band. Will it work, yes, but it is not 100% compatible. I would use cellmapper to find the tower closest to your location and find out what bands are used on that tower before purchasing.

Answer:	Placement of the router is key, the center of the house would be best. That being said, mine is upstairs close to center of 2700 sf home, and get pretty good signal. 5G is a little lacking at the furthest points, but works.
Question:	Will this work with TP Link one mesh
Answer:	I have had the N900 for almost 2 and a half years and I am finding the limitation is really the number of devices and the amount of data it can handle. I am streaming HD content to 2 Xbox360's and 3 streams from an HD Home Run Prime Cable card tuner. I had to put both Xbox360's on the wired Ethernet because the wireless could not handle it. That is why I am looking at the AC68u.
Question:	Will this work with Verizon router + modem combo
Answer:	If I go to Asus website, you can pull up the specs for each. See http://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC68R/ and http://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC68U/ respectively. Best to do this in separate windows to do a side-by-side comparison.Though almost everyone will tell you both units are exactly the same, except that one is sold online and the other retail, I would have to ask then, "Why are there differences in the specs?" You might have noticed the first difference is in the classification of each unit when you clicked on "Compare List" at the top of the webpage. The RT-AC68U is identified as a WiFi "Router", whereas the RT-AC68R is identified as a WiFi "Client". I'm no networking guru but the specific name classifications would suggest that they are different. The argument or statement that one is retail and the other online could simply be an easy way out for Asus techs to explain the difference. As one person noted in the Q&A section, they purchased a "U" version from Best buy - the vary store that everyone is saying is the exclusive seller of the "R" version. LoL.As you scroll down the comparison lists of each, it would appear that both units are up and up, the same. But, compare and scrutinize the specs carefully.1) Under "Data Rate" the AC68R says "802.11n: up to 600Mbps", whereas the AC68U indicates "802.11n: up to 450Mbps" as well as "802.11n TurboQAM: up to 600Mbps". The AC68R does not mention TurboQAM in the specs.2) Under "VPN Support" the AC68U lists Open VPN Server, PPTP Client, L2TP Client, and Open VPN Client, whereas the AC-68R does not list any of these. 3) A couple of days ago, as I compare the lists, the AC68U showed "86x64" after each of the Windows OS systems under the "OS Support" section but the AC68R did not. That seems to have been updated and removed from the AC68U spec list.4) Also, as mentioned by others elsewhere on amazon and other websites, the AC68U lists DLNA under Management Support. Or it did until a couple of days ago. That seems to have also been removed.So, if both units are reported to be the same, then why are there noted differences in specs as noted in Asus own website? Question:	Can you bridge wifi and lan to use as a wifi card for lan only computers? router to router over wifi
Answer:	Bottom line: 2300 sq. ft. two story house. In downstairs kitchen prior Linksys model, best you could buy a little over a year ago, signal went in and out with the router upstairs on the other side of the house. This gives me 28.7 Mbps on wireless in the kitchen, same as a direct ethernet connection in the computer room. I am amazed!

Answer:	The maximum wifi throughtput to a 802.11AC wireless device is approximately 360Mbps for 2x2 MIMO cell phone and 720 for a 4x4 MIMO cell phone. Your Iphone XS is a 2x2 MIMO. under the most ideal conditions expect above 300 Mbps so long as the ISP service speed, modem and router/AP configuration are set up to deliver the higher speeds. The 801.11AX won't increase your hardwares maximum capable speed but it will manage the data flow better regardless if your client is wifi 6 capable or not.

Answer:	If you have over 1200 sq ft and some distance I suggest installing wired access points to help signal. 2.4 ghz signals travel further than 5 ghz but are also prone to interference. I installed a tp link access point with an Ethernet cable run through my attic into my garage so my speed is equal everywhere. Access points are far less problematic than other options such as mesh or extenders
Question:	Has anyone tried it on the verizon network? it says not all bands available with verizon so i'd like to know if it worked out ok or not
Answer:	I just purchase NETGEAR Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream WiFi 6 Router (RAX120) - AX6000. My network is faster than when using my old AC router. The range is also much better and I have no WiFi 6 devices. So is it worth it? YES! Instead of getting around 145 mbs download speeds, I now see around 250 mbs. And I only pay for 200. Go figure.

Answer:	If in my search for a new router I end up deciding to shun Wi-Fi altogether, and ultimately live in a cave, my time spent will have been made worthwhile by this question.
