Answer: | I have CenturyLink 1gig fiber service only and this works well to replace their "modem" which is not a modem. It will not work as your only device if you thier TV or phone service. To replace internet only service you need your PPPoE username and password (can call and get from century link) to enter into the router. Then there is a setting on the router for VLAN tagging which needs set to 201. Then you send thier crappy "modem" back and tell them to take off your monthly "modem" lease fee. Provides much faster speed throughout my home! |
