User questions & answers
Question: | Does this work with at&t dsl |
Answer: | No, Comcast is cable modem and this one is ADSL. Different technology. |
Question: | Does it work with Comcast |
Answer: | Yes,you need to make sure that you have DSL service account open from your internet provider., not cable, not Fiber. This device will connect to your telephone line and you need to get into the device setup page to setup all internet access your account username and password, etc... |
Question: | Just to be clear, this connects to the internet via a dsl phone line correct |
Answer: | It would be best if you asked AT&T. This is ADSL2+, but it expects a copper twisted pair phone line inside the house, not fiber. It works with my Sonic.net service that uses AT&T hardware for "land line" phone service with DSL. I do not have fiber in my area, so the odds of it working for me are better because I do not know how the "fiber" end affects the service and what hardware it needs. |
Question: | Does this work with AT&T uverse |
Answer: | It works with my 3G phone and some what with 4G. My situation with DSL is the Up load speed at only .75 Mbs. Down load is 8 Mbs. So the the data rate up and down from Verizon will be the import issue. I think the MODEM is capable of 10 Mbs. The spec sheet on the ASUS DSL-N10 will have that info. Good Luck |
Question: | Does this work with verizon wireless dsl |
Answer: | Not sure specifically about CalWeb's service. If CalWeb's service is DSL it should work, best to check with CalWeb directly. Generally the ISP has a list of acceptable devices that will work with their service. I am using it with Century Link's DSL. |
Question: | Will it work with cal web internet services adsl light 768kb |
Answer: | Yes you have to bridge it |
Question: | Can this be used only as a modem? I want to use a netgear router with this |
Answer: | It will depend on the "condition" of the telephone lines and the distance from a phone company's equipment. I have Century Link and I am getting about 8 mbps on down load and 0.75 mbps on upload |
Question: | How many mbps download |
Answer: | A pair of them can grip the wi-fi signal by the husk and fly it to the world wide web. |

User questions & answers
Question: | With its 7.5 amp output capability has anyone used this timer to power cycle other electronics, such as a pc or a security dvr system |
Answer: | No.. I've only used it for the modem and wifi. Seems to work well on my three systems. |
Question: | How did you calculate 24% Faster Internet with this device |
Answer: | This calculation was determined using speedtest.net over a 60 day period with 3 different service providers sampled over various times per day. |
Question: | I have amazon alexas and dots. will this affect how they work |
Answer: | This device has nothing to do with Amazon Echo or Echo Dots. It isn't voice activated. It's not network connected. It's not a smart home device. It's a timer. At the time you set, it turns off power to both outlets, then turns the power on to the modem socket, waits a minute, and then turns the power on to the router socket. |
Question: | Is the product UL listed |
Answer: | UL does not hold a monopoly on testing in the U.S. The ETL mark is an approved alternate listing to U.L. "Aside from the body that issues the listing, there is absolutely no difference between a UL listing and an ETL listing. Because Intertek ETL tests products to previously published UL Standards for Safety, products marked as ETL Listed meet exactly the same criteria as those marked UL Listed or UL Recognized." |

About us
Netreset was built out of necessity.
Its inventor designed it while he was working a home automation job. While installing security systems, home automation, energy management, custom audio/video setups, video surveillance, and various other smart home technologies, he realized all of these products and systems relied on one thing: internet connectivity.
If your internet connection fails, a smart home becomes a problem.
Your camera monitors, security system, and light controls no longer work. Other services like media streaming, online gaming, home office, and any internet communication are also hindered. It was at this point that we realized we had to find a solution to ensure reliable and painless internet connectivity. There were no solutions available so we developed our own.
The best solution proved to be the simplest.
As the FBI says, the most effective way of auto-correcting home network issues, erasing malicious cyber attacks and allowing vital updates is by routinely refreshing your modem and router. Turning it off and on again in a specific sequence – modem 2 minutes before router – is the key. By building NetReset, powered by a timer, we simply automated this process. Just set it and forget it.
So far NetReseT has helped thousands of customers with secure, fast, reliable, stress-free internet that is always connected.
Now more than ever, our mission is to give homes worldwide automatic access to a more secure internet.

User questions & answers
Question: | My family has two appartments next to each other, both separate electrical installations. Would this work if we wanted to split the internet bill |
Answer: | Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID. |
Question: | Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good |
Answer: | If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no. |
Question: | Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range |
Answer: | the input voltage is from 100 to 240 volts |
Question: | I don't understand how some people give this 4-5 stars and others can't get it to work and give it 1 star |
Answer: | there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself. |

User questions & answers
Question: | is this compatable with belkin routers |
Answer: | Yes. |
Question: | Doe it work with Century link |
Answer: | This modem is for use with Cable Internet, not DSL. If CenturyLink offers cable internet in your area, it should work. I know this modem works with Suddenlink cable. |
Question: | Will this modem work with Time Warner triple play internet and their telephone service |
Answer: | In my area, currently, if you have Time Warner 'triple play' (TV, Internet, phone) and you have your own supported modem, TW provides the same modem they would for triple play and uses that for phone service only - at no monthly equipment charge - and disables their modems Internet connection/ wifi. So you do need that TW modem in addition to this unit and a cable box for TW triple play, but your only equipment fee if you have your own modem is for the cable box / DVR. I am using this modem and a TW modem with a high bandwidth splitter and good, short coax patch cables (or you can use different cable wall outlets for phone and Internet if you prefer) with TW triple play, and am not charged any monthly rental fee for Internet or phone hardware. Contact your TW representative and confirm their policy for your area (may take more than one call to get a representative who can give you the official answer). |
Question: | Will this modem work with at&t uverse ??? if not which modem will |
Answer: | No it definitely will not. AT&T Uverse uses modems that have an RJ-11 connector in the back (phone cord plug). This is COAX, and is only used for Cable Internet providers. What you need to look for is a 2Wire or other common Uverse modems. Hope this helps. If you call AT&T they can also give you a list of compatible modems for the services offered in your area. |

User questions & answers

Question: | So I plugged the AC adapter and the green light did not go on. So I assume that the adapter is a dud |
Answer: | Yes, it also has a set of services such as specific programs pre-made. Such as steam, Netflix, or even specific computers. |
Question: | Anyone experiecing limited wireless speeds? I'm paying for a 40 meg line but only receiving 10 on wireless. Thanks |
Answer: | It can definitely be used for cards, however it is not scored and it is bright white. I used it for a wedding dress cut-out invitation for my daughter's bridal shower and it was very good quality and was perfect for what I needed it for. I do not know how it would fold though, it may not fold well without the scoring. |
Question: | Can you configure QoS on download bandwidth |
Answer: | This will prevent bleed through of all but the thinnest-inked, solvent-based markers, but it will be usable *only* if your printer can handle paper of this weight. Don't be one of "those" reviewers who ends up complaining about the product because YOU didn't check your printer's specs *before* you bought it! |
