But that nice fat RG cable coming to your house will finally be utilized to a lot more of its potential like never before and then they say the sky is the limit or at least 6gbps easily with no modifications needed at the customers side other that more power full modems when available. Question:	Can the 2 ethernet ports on a remote node be used to connect wired devices to the network? I have some wired devices located far away from the router
Answer:	Not by itself. You have to add the “powered” lightning to USB Camera Adapter as well. You plug the powered Lightning to USB camera adapter into the IPad, plug the power cable into the camera adapter, then finally plug the internet adapter’s USB port into the camera adapter’s USB receptacle and it will all work. That’s how I’m getting a wired internet connection on my iPad currently. This setup will also work to give your iPhones wired internet for those pesky updates out to transfer larger files. In order to use the internet adapter in Its own you need a powered USB hub. Oh yeah, you must use the power supply that came with your iPad for this to work. If you use a smaller power supply, like an iPhones, it will tell your setup requires too much power to work. As long as you use the power adapter for the iPad you’re good.

Answer:	Warning, If your Mac is up to date and running Sierra 10.12.2 it is compatible but the Linksys Connect software is not compatible and you will have to set it up manually which for me was over an hour on the phone with Linksys support and another hour trying to make the auto connect work before I Goggled and found out I was on a hamster wheel!

Answer:	On the back. Other than the on/off switch, it's the only button that can be pushed with your finger. (There is a recessed button reset that requires a pencil or paperclip, etc. It's not the wps button.)

Out of 6 laptops that I regularly connect to the wireless network, only two of them do not experience this problem; the other 4 will loose connectivity every hour or so. I have the Router Firmware Update set to automatic, so no issue there; I am currently on version 1.1.3.181750. I see a suggestion in this thread is to disable MU-MIMO, which I just did and will see what the results are, but I am doubtful this will help because that setting seems to be only applicable to the 5GHz spectrum and the issue occurs on both 2.4 and 5 GHz spectrums for me.

Then there is a setting on the router for VLAN tagging which needs set to 201. Then you send thier crappy "modem" back and tell them to take off your monthly "modem" lease fee. Keep it on a surge protector and it should be good for at least 5 years. But you never know what will be developed that you have to have to increase the speed or capabilities. Question:	Are parental controls included, or least available to use with this router
Answer:	Model MR2600 will work behind a "modem" for Fios. Bearing in mind that this is a WiFi router only and not a gateway. Your existing device you have with Fios service is likely a device with a built in router. To use this external router instead, you will likely need to disable the built in WiFi router you have.

Answer:	You can optimize the wireless in your router. Login to your router by opening a web browser and typing in the address field: 192.168.1.1 The default password is: motorola. Click WiFi > Advanced Settings. Under the 2.4 GHz, change WiFi Channel from "auto" to either 1, 6, or 11. (It may take a couple of tries before you find the right channel. Your neighbors are also using 2.4 GHz and that includes microwaves, baby monitors, blue tooth devices, car alarms, etc. Many interferences around you). Next, set the Channel Width to 20 MHz for the 2.4 GHz. Now go to the 5 GHz on the same page and change the WiFi channel from 'auto' to 161/80. Change the Channel Width to 20/40 MHz. Answer:	You do NOT. It's hidden how to access the router page directly without a phone, but you can do it. When you hit the IP address of the router, it will have a page to download the apps. Don't click the app buttons, but the picture of the phone instead. This will then take you to the normal setup page without the apps. Found this out during a call with tech support.

Answer:	Yes, the router has a VPN pass through but it does not have a VPN server capability
Question:	Can't load certain pages (on all devices/browsers), reset dns to google 8.8.8.8, which didn't help. What setting do I need to change to fit this
Answer:	Yes it is because the e3000 is more like the old 4200 cisco linksys router I had that just wouldn't stream movies to we'll if there was more than one or two devices streaming at the same time I have had 10 devices hooked up at one time and streaming movies on 3 or 4 of them at the same time and no problems at all with the ac2600 and my Internet is 10megs and it's crap but changed nothing but my router and now everything works. Movies can play in HD 1080p now gaming no problem at all. And it's got a lot of options to change stuff even if you not home using your smart phone.
Question:	Does this work with Verizon fios
Answer:	This router is NOT a true Wave 2 device because it doesn't support 160MHz channels as described in the 802.11AC wave 2 specification. 160MHz channels offer double the theoretical speeds of 80MHz channels. This router only supports 80MHz channels so you end up with 433Mbs x 4(spatial streams) = 1733Mbs. With 160MHz channels you get 866Mbs x 4(spatial streams) = 3464Mbs which most companies round to 3.5Gbs. With 160MHz channels they are 2 times as wide so they carry 2 times the data. Seems like a bad idea to spend so much money on these initial routers that don't support 160MHz channels when Qualcomms new mobile phone processors support 160MHz channels. That means a new phone connected to this router would only transfer at half the speed it's capable of.
Question:	Does this router have a gui interface that supports vlan
Answer:	The new router is designed to stay flat on a surface, but it can also be wall-mounted, though it doesn't include any mounting screws.
