I do not know how it would fold though, it may not fold well without the scoring.

Answer:	I have CenturyLink 1gig fiber service only and this works well to replace their "modem" which is not a modem. It will not work as your only device if you thier TV or phone service. To replace internet only service you need your PPPoE username and password (can call and get from century link) to enter into the router. Then there is a setting on the router for VLAN tagging which needs set to 201. Then you send thier crappy "modem" back and tell them to take off your monthly "modem" lease fee. Provides much faster speed throughout my home!

Answer:	in my opinion this will help. before I got this router I had a smaller one. Then we started adding more technology in our home (smart TVs, tablets, etc) and the connections kept dropping. I got this router and I have not had an issue since.
Question:	I upgraded to 200mbps internet speed. i alreay purchased arris surfboard sb6 as the modem. will speed test show 200mbps or trottle it down at 100mbps
Answer:	What model of modem did you buy? Usually, the model number on the surfboards look like sb6xxx. Since you are paying for 200Mbps, your modem is going to be the first chokepoint but if you bought a DOCSIS 3.0 modem, then you should be able to reach speeds of 300Mbps. This specific router states on Linksys.com that the max link rate is 867Mbps. Given that you are hard-wired with cat 6 ethernet cable installed correctly (i.e. no runs over 100ft, no kinks, etc.) then you should be able to hit your 200Mbps speed provided by your ISP. Your wireless speed is determined by the server you are pinging as well as interference in your area and other devices in use on your network. A caveat, though, is that each category of internet speeds provided by your ISP is usually "up to..." so basically they will provide speeds up to the 200Mbps but no lower than the category under the one you pay for. Answer:	Yes, Give the router its own IP and then turn off DHCP. Plug cat5/6 into ports, 1-4 ( cable coming from other router. Depending on how many times you have added a router, will depend on the IP that you give it. If this is just the 2nd router, setup IP as 192.168.1.2, then make sure all your wireless settings are correct, and turn off DHCP. Power cycle the router and your should be good to go. I have 4 routers on my network.From the looks of some of the comments, I don't think there is a clear understanding of repeater and bridge and extend. Please learn what all these mean, in terms of networking, before you answer a question. You are only misleading people. This is and cannot be a repeater. You WILL need a network cable run from either your modem, or another router, to supply internet.

Answer:	WPA2 are using AES by default. But with newer routers, they're usually automatically set to TKIP and AES. With Eseries routers (E1000/2000/3000/4200), WPA or WPA2 are usually using TKIP and AES.

Answer:	Purchased this today at Wal-Mart for $44. It is currently setup as an access point in a home network. It is interfaced with a Docsis 3.1 Arris gateway from cox. No issues. Made the ip for the access point static on the gateway Made the ssid's the same as the gateway so it's transparent. Works Great!

"As always, your mileage WILL vary!" It's the difference between whether you wan it to work like 99% of people do, or if you're that 1% of the people out there that demands to be able to control every aspect of what exactly that firewall does, how it reacts to various stimulus, etc You _are_ trading off the Mu-MiMo feature for the 1.6GHz dual processor added horsepower as well as the ability to "roll your own" code for the firewall, or at least have the ability to augment the basics, and add functionality specific to your implementation.
