Answer:	I have 8 ports hub instead of five ports hub. I still have the instruction for either of them so the instruction says "Connect one of the Ethernet cable to one of devices then connect to the switch. It states that you can use any one port to connect so there is no special port for connecting the router.Mine connects to #1 port that connects to the router. After connecting to the router, check to see any flashing light on the cable. If the light is still flashing, it should be Okay.

Answer:	far as AC-1900 routers go this would be one of the top 2 models. I have no regrets with mine. I did put merlin on mine took about 2 hours but I was also watching TV while doing it. Got one for my sister and had hers done in a bit less than an hour. Between people being on Mobile Devices and having Netflix on 2 TV's going, PS4 or MMO on PC going at same time it works real well. Better than my older modem. I love guest modes too. I can make silly names and troll my neighbors.

Answer:	This is a T-Mobile branded router, you do not need to have any sort of account with T-Mobile to utilize this. It is the exact same internals as an ASUS AC68U For the masses this is a great router out of the box. For those who are tech savvy and want to unlock its full potential you can "hack" it to asus firmware, and from there install ASUSMerlin, I have done this several times for friends/family that have all purchased this router. FYI, around March of 2018 ASUS put an update in the AC68U/AC68P firmware so that it will auto-revert you back to the TM-AC1900 firmware; thus if you want something better than stock firmware you will have to use ASUSMerlin (which is better than stock ASUS anyways).

Answer:	You do not need T-Mobile Network Service to use this as a Router. The TMobile firmware is only an advantage for TMobile users to connect onto the Wifi and take advantage of Voice Over Wifi. If you are not a TMobile user you can still use this as an ASUS AC1900 Router.

Answer:	I've done 3 routers this way all ordered in December 2017, so the guides still works fine. Note in many of the tutorials the initial reset instruction has changed. It's not just holding down the reset button. You have to hold multiple buttons down intially, but you keep reset in for > 2 minutes while you do the downgrade. Answer:	You can have multiple extenders that repeat the main router signal to different areas -- extending range in multiple directions -- but you cannot set up a DAP-1320 to become a wireless range repeater to another DAP-1320 (daisy-chained).

Answer:	My extender is pretty much equidistant from the router. The extender creates its own separate network so they do not interfere with each other. However, I have to toggle back and forth from the main router to the extender depending on where I am in my house (2 floors, garage, back driveway, front porch) to get a stronger signal. That being said, if you don't mind tapping a couple of times on your wireless device, the coverage is fantastic.

Answer:	if you go through the set up on your computer after you plug it all in right it will help you to create your own passkey or to generate one and you can change it the same way...I don't remember the exact steps but it was all spelled out in the set up...did you do the set up? You generate a key in set up first then you can change it or generate a different one any time.....by going back to the set up which sorry now I cant remember how to go back but I don't need to thank goodness as my key works and I have no real need to change it..its a great routet too by the way I bought it cause the people who share my large property with , we have three residences and all of us can share it and we are not really that close so I love it. Saves us a fortune as our isp would prefer we let them put three separate dishes for each of us but we don't have t owith this router so instead of paying almost $500 a month for service we pay $130 not a bad savings...

Answer:	great question and only luck , wins here, no matter what store you buy from, box is sealed and only the bottom sticker of said router (any) shows HW versions, a2 is newest HW version.( or higher, some have 5 or more versions) might be only ESD upgrades , ask maker that. the more important fact in this topic is firmware upgrades we do day 1, new, out of box. do not use wrong upgrades A1 or A2 or what you have, or you will brick the thing. read the sticker and match the rom.bin file to correct version. just like on PCs or well , gee anything on earth with firmware inside..

Answer:	No to naming individually and the only disable switch is for HT 20/40 coexistence. it seems to work great and I havent had any issues with any other equipment to this day. For the money it seems to be a really good router! Set up is very easy about 5 mins.
