Answer:	No. Depending on what type is your Internet connection you can have either DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP or L2TP type of connectivity. Answer:	No, the RV160 is wired only router which means that it does not support wireless connectivity. The iPhone will need Wi-Fi connectivity via a Wireless Access Point or Wireless Router like RV160W to connect to the Internet.

Answer:	I have bonded/VDSL Windstream and it does not appear to be working with mine. Windsteam is charging me $10 a month to rent their modem, and this is the third modem I've purchased now that claims to work with Windstream, that does not. But, none of them are VDSL compliant. So you need to check with Windstream to see if your service is bonded/VDSL and if it is make sure you purchase a modem that supports that.

Answer:	I deployed my new Cisco RV110W within twenty minutes of opening the box. I immediately acquired an additional 20 Mbps and a range increase of over thirty feet versus my former Belkin wireless router. My house has a main floor and a basement which constitutes roughly 2,400 sq. ft. and I have exceptionally good WiFi coverage throughout the entire house. The WiFi signal will begin to weaken near my mailbox but still reaches to my neighbor's house across the street.

Answer:	It will not control individual User bandwidth by IP ... well, will not control it exactly ... for each User. The Quality of Service programming allows the administrator to set different bandwidths to different VLANS (which in turn "controls" the bandwidth maximum all Users can enjoy in any given VLAN). This feature is a "limiting" feature, which allows you to split up the total bandwidth available from your ISP. Alternatively, each VLAN can be set with a Priority of use, so that more important functions can be given higher priority over non-essential functions on the network; this option allows full ISP bandwidth to be used, but just prioritizes it (and delays some of it) if you see periods of extreme usage higher than your ISP allows. So , technically, you can limit an individual's bandwidth, but depending on what you've got in mind for your entire network -- it may take some doing.

Answer:	I have CenturyLink 1gig fiber service only and this works well to replace their "modem" which is not a modem. It will not work as your only device if you thier TV or phone service. To replace internet only service you need your PPPoE username and password (can call and get from century link) to enter into the router. Then there is a setting on the router for VLAN tagging which needs set to 201. Then you send thier crappy "modem" back and tell them to take off your monthly "modem" lease fee. Provides much faster speed throughout my home!

Answer:	Yes, it supports 802.1q and 1p vlan features. I use several vlans on 3 ports trunk for a 3 gig connection, you can use the 4th also. You can set rules to allow 1 item on or all of 1 vlan access to others. This really is a great router not security device, although it has some security features, for the money.

Answer:	I think so, but it also depends on the speed you get from your ISP. With my old G-router (rated at 54 Mbps), I did not realize I only got 7 Mbps wirelessly, so I wasn't taking advantage of the full speed from my ISP. With this new router at home, I only uses 2 computer/laptops at any given time, plus VoIP phone, and I have no problems with bandwidth.

Answer:	Yes, you can choose channel selection to be either "auto" or manual choosing from the drop down menu for each band (2.4GHz or 5GHz) the available channels. For the US you have product ID RV160W-A-K9-NA where "A" is the wireless band plan. There are 11 channels in the 2.4GHz band allowed by the FCC in North America and 26 channels in 5GHz band.
