Answer:	Yes. The entire AirPort line was discussed by Apple as of April 2018, however these products will still work and be supported by Apple until 2023. There were two generations of the AirPort Express, this is the newer model.

Answer:	It depends on the area you need to cover. I have three in my home and this works great. I just added internet to my cottage an hour away. I put one unit there. It is more than adequate. Also it was really easy to add another network. I was done before the installer was out the driveway.

Answer:	I run gigabit... at the router I normally get 850-970 MPs... device side I get 150-180mps... I have tested 3 devices simultaneously and got those speeds

Answer:	Yes. It has several usable ethernet ports and will act as a switch. However, there are some third party usb wifi adapters on amazon that can be used with macs (including mac pro) to get wifi if you prefer that.

Answer:	Memory on the Airport device is irrelevant. It merely transmit the internet traffic from your provider's modem to your devices. How much memory your computer or device is the rea thing to worry about.

Answer:	reset your router with the pinhole in the back. press a paperclip in it until it clicks, then plug in the router. wait for the blinking amber light (10 seconds) then remove the paper clip. download app utility to your laptop/desktop. Plug one cable into the router and one cable into the network port. The app for iPhone usually picks this up but if it doesn't or if you don't have an iPhone try the cable approach I just explained. once its plugged in the apple utilility app should find it

Question:	Does this actually support 5ghz? the amazon page says a/b/g/n, but then only lists 2.4. 802.11a is 5ghz only
Answer:	THis picture isn't like the extender I purchased. The one I got is white and was mounted in m y sunroom. However, the electrical plug quit working and I had to move in out in my breezeway. So far so good. Think I will put some kind of protection between it and the north open wall near it. Only time will tell how the exposure affects it.

Answer:	This router doesn’t work with a regular lan router not sure for vsat tech. Drops connect regularly even though a green light is displayed.
