I highly recommend this particular Netgear Nighthawk adapter. I have several others that are not as good. I have a TP-Link AC1900 (do not recommend it) and a D-Link AC1900 which is a very good adapter but the Nighthawk has them all beat!

Answer:	It's work great on my desktop connecting to the internet I don't see why it wouldn't work on your PS4 or Xbox. It connects automatically nothing else to once you install it.

Answer:	If my experience is a predictor of yours, then yes. This worked perfectly for me. I have a Netgear R7000 Nighthawk router (AC1900) downstairs and could not get a consistent or fast connection before. Basically the powered antenna hooks to the RP-SMA slot, then has the powered hub, and then you put a % dbi antenna on it and it'll get 2x more antenna strength. Even 2x more then what you'll use for a higher DBI antenna. So if you use a 24dbi antenna, it'd more be like a 48dbi antenna. Answer:	This is a wireless access point not a router, that means that it only provides a wireless signal for computers, tablets phones etc. It must have a wired connection to it from the internet. It does not have a firewall so if you have a internet connection only at this time you should get a model with a router/firewall not this model.

Answer:	It's going to be connected to the same network and can have the same SSID. I use mine as an access point at the other end of the my house and gave it a slightly different name so I would know which device (my router also has wireless connectivity). I could always look at signal strength and tell the difference, but I like the slightly different name.

Answer:	Also note that the ethernet port is only 100Mbit. So if your existing WiFi is usually capable of more than 100Mbit, for example your WiFi internet is 150Mbit or more, you will only get around 100Mbit or a little less to your ethernet device. You'd have to pay a little more money for a different device with a GigaBit ethernet port if you want to get anything more than 100Mbit out of this ethernet port.

I would recommend a wireless extender if you receive a good enough signal at your desired location. I find my Netgear signal as the strongest in my house. Your home construction will determine your strength of reception.

When the wifi repeater extends wifi signal successfully, the indicator light is steady blue or steady red or blinking red. If it's red and flashing, indicates that the pairing is not successful, proceed to the second step. Step 2: Access the web-based management page, check if you can find the original router signal in the WLAN list. If you can't find the original router's SSID, please check: a. The distance between wifi repeater and your router, put them closer to each other. If the original router is too far away, the signal will be too weak to search. b. Whether your router is working properly. c. Whether you have set the of your router SSID hidden. If so, please make the SSID visible. d. What's the encryption standards of your original router? Answer:	The idea is 'no' because you are extending the existing bands off the main router with the same user ID and password so it's a mesh. You technically could set up the Extender to have different uid/pswrds then it's a yes but why have 4 networks (1 2.4ghz/1 5ghx - 1 E2.4ghz/ 1 E5ghz)? The reason you want this Extender is not only for ax capabilities but the mesh like framework. Also to get this particular Extenders 5ghz to see your routers 5ghz band you'll need to use the lower end of the 5ghz band
Question:	Whats the difference between _ext vs _5gext
Answer:	Just plug it in it will merge w your exsisting router

Answer:	I did a chat with Netgear about your question. The eax20 works with your current router to create a mesh system. Easy setup. The mk62 can work with an existing router, but requires more in-depth setup, in that you have to make your existing router a bridge. Additionally (according to Netgear) it does not create the seamless WiFi network that the eax20 does. Bottom line - the eax20 is designed to work with your existing router, and the mk62 is better suited to be a standalone system. I am sure a more network savvy person can make it work (and better explain), but it is beyond my abilities. I will go with the eax20 or eax80.
Question:	Will this work with At & T modem and is there a difference in setting it up
Answer:	Depends on your link speed, internet speed provider package cap and obstacles in your home interfering with the signal.
