Answer:	Yes!!! I am using it in my RV to pick up free wi-file and it boosting my signal to full bars as though as I am sitting next to the AP. The speed is insanely fast. Thank God I didn't purchase additional T-Mobile lousy "unlimited" on the hotpot device. Look at my review and the image I uploaded. By 50 feet I am getting full bar from the building ( not sure where the AP is located) but I believe it is somewhere further away. With my Note 4, I am getting one or two bars. My kindle HDX 7" getting two. Sometimes the signAL shows no bar but still working and sometimes just stopped. With this thing, the signal is full bars as listed on the router admin page. I could tell the difference because of the page loading. Buy it!!
Question:	Any good reports on the EX7000 from people who are NOT part of the "Friends and Family Test program" I am very interested in this, but
Answer:	I don't speak "tech" but make of this what you will. Our house has ceiling heat and a kitchen with appliances against the wall that is in the middle of the house basically. Bottom line kitchen is dead zone and the wires for ceiling heat made connections from the modem on the other side of the house near impossible. I have xfinity 105 and had 2 techs here trying to make it communicate. We decided we had 2 options, an extender or hard wire the other side of the house through the electrical outlets. Purchased the EX7000 because if I have to invest I'm going with best I can find and afford and this was it. Placement is in my kitchen near the doorway to the part of the house that has signal, we now have excellent wireless in all areas of the house and I game online wireless without any wifi signal issues even if everyone else in the house is online. Answer:	Sorry for the delay, going from my kitchen which is where the range extender is to the far side of my garage and even another 10 feet outside of it, I am looking at approximately 40 ft & 50 ft with the signal at 55 dBM & 64 dBM respectively. I hope this helps you.

Answer:	Unfortunately no. While your router may be a tri-band (1 2.4ghz and 2 5ghz), this only supports extending (1 2.4ghz and 1 5ghz). Like you, and we and the rest of the tech world are still waiting for a tri band extender but has yet to come to market. To note, of course you could simply buy a tai-band router, and then in settings convert it to an extender, the obvious down sides being mainly cost and the large size of a router vs a dedicated extender.

Question:	Can you use two off these (one to extend to backyard / patio, and the other to extend to 2nd floor which is on the opposite end of backyard / patio
Answer:	If it's anything like the amped repeater/extenders (old REC10 for example) as long as you plug them within range of your router (REC10 recommends at least 70% router signal strength) you can have each extend your router's signal in the direction they are located. That gives you an access point at each (for example in opposite directions from your router, plus extending the wifi around each. In fact, I have extended my router's range by configuring one REC10 to extend another REC10 which is extending the router's original signal. I would be will to bet you can do all of this with this Netgear unit.

Answer:	No. But it can be if your ability to extend diminishes quickly from the router due to walls, floors, tall furniture; etc. That's where wiring to the Extender (set to Access Point mode) helps

Answer:	It can be used in two different ways. If you just plug it into the wall and connect it to your existing WiFi, it creates a new SSID. Alternatively, you can run an ethernet cable to its location, where it will act as an access point to extend the existing wireless network.

Answer:	I straight out bought mine the old American way with my money, unhindered by any promotional or free offers. Also be wary of very good or very bad reviews wherein you do not see the words "Verified Purchase" by the posters name. I'm seeing a lot more of those these days and by my thinking they must be fake reviews because why would someone even post a review here on Amazon if they didn't buy it here? Makes no sense to me. Enough of that but yes I did buy it myself and had it almost a week now and am very happy and impressed with the NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700). Mine is fulfilling my purpose for it by providing a strong and solid WiFi signal to my AmcrestPro HD WiFi camera overlooking the outside of my house. My camera's live video feed is now constant and uninterrupted and my screens on my pc, my Android phone, and my laptop all no longer freeze up while I'm watching the live feed. The NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700) is a success for me. As for the bad reviews for it I can only surmise they are from user errors in trying to use this device. Answer:	Probably the only way to know is to try (& return it if it does not work - that's why I purchase from Amazon - superior return process & customer service overall). This unit did not work for me. My situation is WAY less than 80-100 feet (about 35). Problems I had were that the unit would not connect via wifi to Foscam (!) camera (had to use ethernet cable); and while it DID connect to router wifi it would drop out about every 20 minutes requiring reboot (unacceptable). What finally worked for me is TP-Link Powerline Adapters (they use house wiring to transmit data between camera & router - works GREAT!). So you might consider Powerline Adapters (plug one into LAN router & AC outlet, other into AC & device via LANt cable. Instructions say they must be on same circuit, but as long as they are on same Mains power panel it should work - although be aware they say they won't work on a Surge Suppressor power cable, which apparently can block the signals). Price is comparable as well. Either way, good luck!

Answer:	In my case, our router & cable internet connection was in my son's room. By the time we got to my room and other rooms in the house the connection got slower, more interruption, lousy TV streaming, etc. Now that we have this extender all of those issues have disappeared. No one can explain it in simpler terms than me because I listen to my son who is going to school for computer programming. I have no idea how any of this works! 

Answer:	I have the AC1200 Wifi Range Extender, (Model EX6150). It is worth the money as it seems to have a much more powerful range than my router. With both of them my range is extended significantly. the range easily covers a 3000SF highly insulated home (including all interior floors and walls). The Wifi signal is strong on 3 exterior porches as well. Setup was a breeze and the Wifi signal lights clearly let you know if you are too far from your router to power the extender.
Question:	Does it matter if my wall outlet is behind a piece of furniture? The only wall outlet I have available is behind my dresser
Answer:	I found out from experience that a mirror directly between your computer and the wifi router will weaken the signal. A metal filing cabinet would do the same, but wooden furniture doesn't hurt it at all.

Answer:	Don’t know if you could attach it to the existing extender - should work. However, would definitely extend network if attached to the router. You would have a MESH network (with networks extended with the same name as those from the router) plus the existing networks with whatever name you’ve given them from the AC1200

Answer:	No... you will need to do some setup but the instructions are clear. If your existing cable modem has a "WPS" button on it then it is simple, if not then you will need to use a computer to get the AC1900 connected. This is going to be true with any of various devices you can buy to extend your Wifi, this device has good instructions and good signal strength would recommend. If you are not sure about how hard it is to setup you might want to take a look at the directions before you buy...
Question:	Will I be able to install 2 of these units to connect to the same main router
Answer:	range will be entirely dependent on what exactly the signal is trying to push thru. Open area with no walls or obstructions = greater range than trying to run this inside a house with multiple walls/brick/glass/etc. Unit claims to cover 2100sq ft. (or appx 195 sq meters) It repeats the signal on the second floor of my house just fine. And the WPS setup didn't work for me either, I had to navigate to it via web client and set it up. Many walk thrus on this online, so I won't bother posting that here.

Answer:	do not use it anymore. Never set it up with mac. it did not work well for me.

Answer:	I have never had any problems 'linking up'? It connects every time on reboot. Do you have auto channel select turned off in your main router?Also check that your main router does not have 20/40 coexists turned on

Answer:	Yes, I have it connected to a USB 2.0 port on my older laptop and it hooks up immediately to my gigabit home internet with a very strong connection. I highly recommend this particular Netgear Nighthawk adapter. I have several others that are not as good. I have a TP-Link AC1900 (do not recommend it) and a D-Link AC1900 which is a very good adapter but the Nighthawk has them all beat!

Answer:	It's work great on my desktop connecting to the internet I don't see why it wouldn't work on your PS4 or Xbox. It connects automatically nothing else to once you install it.

Answer:	If my experience is a predictor of yours, then yes. This worked perfectly for me. I have a Netgear R7000 Nighthawk router (AC1900) downstairs and could not get a consistent or fast connection before. Answer:	I paired the extender with the router. Then I plugged the extender into an outlet at the far end of the house, a distance of approximately 120 feet. It has worked very well giving us a good signal through out the 218 ft. wide house on one level.
