Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
Question:	Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good
Answer:	If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.
Question:	Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Answer:	Dan Blake has the correct answer if you want to use your existing SSID. You cannot set it up that way (same SSID) using the WPS method. You'll have to use a second computer or device (I used my phone). Additionally, you'll need to also use the same password(s) for your existing SSID(s) and restart Wi-Fi (let it reconnect once) on each device to get a seamless network. If you want new networks, you can name then anything you want and set whatever passwords you want.

Answer:	When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it's a worthless brick and customer service is absolutely reprehensible. The customer service line (since it isn't listed on the website is 888-638-4327) and the phone tree is rage-inducing, and the hold times are beyond ridiculous. I've been trying to get a human for about 15 minutes now, and I decided to fill the time by leaving warnings for others about their garbage-tier customer service.

Answer:	Yes, it can work either hardwired as an access point or wirelessly as an extender of your WiFi network. The key to making a seamless network extension is by using the same wireless password as you use for your existing WiFi. This way devices can roam and you don't need to login again. I would recommend a wireless extender if you receive a good enough signal at your desired location. I find my Netgear signal as the strongest in my house. Your home construction will determine your strength of reception.

Answer:	.09 Amps A/C 5.5 Watts It runs WARM, but not HOT under any circumstances.

Answer:	Don’t know if you could attach it to the existing extender - should work. However, would definitely extend network if attached to the router. You would have a MESH network (with networks extended with the same name as those from the router) plus the existing networks with whatever name you’ve given them from the AC1200

Answer:	No... you will need to do some setup but the instructions are clear. If your existing cable modem has a "WPS" button on it then it is simple, if not then you will need to use a computer to get the AC1900 connected. This is going to be true with any of various devices you can buy to extend your Wifi, this device has good instructions and good signal strength would recommend. If you are not sure about how hard it is to setup you might want to take a look at the directions before you buy...
Question:	Will I be able to install 2 of these units to connect to the same main router
Answer:	range will be entirely dependent on what exactly the signal is trying to push thru. Open area with no walls or obstructions = greater range than trying to run this inside a house with multiple walls/brick/glass/etc. Unit claims to cover 2100sq ft. (or appx 195 sq meters) It repeats the signal on the second floor of my house just fine. And the WPS setup didn't work for me either, I had to navigate to it via web client and set it up. Many walk thrus on this online, so I won't bother posting that here.

Answer:	Yes!!! I am using it in my RV to pick up free wi-file and it boosting my signal to full bars as though as I am sitting next to the AP. The speed is insanely fast. Thank God I didn't purchase additional T-Mobile lousy "unlimited" on the hotpot device. Look at my review and the image I uploaded. By 50 feet I am getting full bar from the building ( not sure where the AP is located) but I believe it is somewhere further away. With my Note 4, I am getting one or two bars. My kindle HDX 7" getting two. Sometimes the signAL shows no bar but still working and sometimes just stopped. With this thing, the signal is full bars as listed on the router admin page. I could tell the difference because of the page loading. Buy it!!

Answer:	I don't speak "tech" but make of this what you will. Our house has ceiling heat and a kitchen with appliances against the wall that is in the middle of the house basically. Bottom line kitchen is dead zone and the wires for ceiling heat made connections from the modem on the other side of the house near impossible. I have xfinity 105 and had 2 techs here trying to make it communicate. We decided we had 2 options, an extender or hard wire the other side of the house through the electrical outlets. Purchased the EX7000 because if I have to invest I'm going with best I can find and afford and this was it. Placement is in my kitchen near the doorway to the part of the house that has signal, we now have excellent wireless in all areas of the house and I game online wireless without any wifi signal issues even if everyone else in the house is online. Answer:	Unfortunately no. While your router may be a tri-band (1 2.4ghz and 2 5ghz), this only supports extending (1 2.4ghz and 1 5ghz). Like you, and we and the rest of the tech world are still waiting for a tri band extender but has yet to come to market. To note, of course you could simply buy a tai-band router, and then in settings convert it to an extender, the obvious down sides being mainly cost and the large size of a router vs a dedicated extender.
