Answer:	Eero is a mesh network. There are no “boosters” or range extenders as you need on a conventional WIFI network. Instead the various errors nodes all add to the network.. same SSID... same speed...same everything. You have to have an Eero or Eero pro routers , you can’t plug in a “beacon” on a non-Eero network.

Answer:	Yes - however performance (range, throughput) will be lower than when paired with a Gen II router.

Answer:	I just got off phone w Eero. The beacon costs more because it is smaller and has 3 channels. It is super easy to just plug in. The other one is 2nd gen and can be used as router or extender but has only 2 channels and needs to be placed on a table or surface. So if you have many users at same time, may be better to get beacon as you may need 3 channels for data flow, but if you just need it spread wifi over larger area, then save money and get the other one.

Answer:	If you have an Internet installation (cable or Dish) in one apartment that is connected to a wi-fi router, you would be able to set up and pair the extender in the apartment with the wi-fi router, then plug the extender in an outlet in the other apartment. The extender network is protected with a password so only those who know the PW coils access your network connection.

I live in a basement apartment and the wifi wasn't great to play online and it was too far to set up a Ethernet cable. Answer:	Dan Blake has the correct answer if you want to use your existing SSID. You cannot set it up that way (same SSID) using the WPS method. You'll have to use a second computer or device (I used my phone). Additionally, you'll need to also use the same password(s) for your existing SSID(s) and restart Wi-Fi (let it reconnect once) on each device to get a seamless network. If you want new networks, you can name then anything you want and set whatever passwords you want.

Answer:	When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it's a worthless brick and customer service is absolutely reprehensible. The customer service line (since it isn't listed on the website is 888-638-4327) and the phone tree is rage-inducing, and the hold times are beyond ridiculous. I've been trying to get a human for about 15 minutes now, and I decided to fill the time by leaving warnings for others about their garbage-tier customer service.

Answer:	Yes, it's all about placement. I live in a 5th wheel about 100+ ft from our trailer house. That's a lot of metal that will reflect your signal, so if possible, move your router as close as possible to a window facing your Camper, and set the Extender outside, midway or closer to the camper if needed. I used an extention cord and a clear plastic bag for cover, and put it up on a pole about 10 ft high, but I've considered setting it on top of a roof vent cover if signal seems weak. Set the antennae perpendicular (45° angle) for best signal strength and try to keep your windows clear, as that is where most of your signal will be able to penetrate that big tin box on wheels. Then it's just trial and error, keep adjusting their locations until you have the perfect signal inside.

But we know our extenders work through walls, tin roofing, and give us 1 - 2 bars of service even at roughly 600-700ft away across our pasture. Answer:	Yes, it can work either hardwired as an access point or wirelessly as an extender of your WiFi network. The key to making a seamless network extension is by using the same wireless password as you use for your existing WiFi. This way devices can roam and you don't need to login again. I would recommend a wireless extender if you receive a good enough signal at your desired location. I find my Netgear signal as the strongest in my house. Your home construction will determine your strength of reception.

Answer:	We have it setup on the second floor with the main router on the ground floor.

Answer:	Mighty wifi is a modem and a router which works alone. Mighty require to purchase data to work (US or Global). It won't work by bluetooth tether from your phone to broad cast. Question:	If I have another linksys extender already, how do you I get this new one to bounce off that one instead of trying to extend the signal from router
Answer:	We use it for rving and motels and it works great, and it's secure. It may slow down at peak hours but for us works great.
