Answer:	No. You have to plug in the ethernet from main router to the first adapter, then you will have Wifi from the second adapter.
Question:	If this is plugged into the bottom receptacle, does it block a typical grounded plug from plugging into the top receptacle? Can't tell from photos

Answer:	If you have an Internet installation (cable or Dish) in one apartment that is connected to a wi-fi router, you would be able to set up and pair the extender in the apartment with the wi-fi router, then plug the extender in an outlet in the other apartment. The extender network is protected with a password so only those who know the PW coils access your network connection.
Question:	I have not been able to get to the website to complete the set up process. When I called for the help, they wanted to remotely log into my laptop
Answer:	I have been using it for online gameplay and it has worked extremely well. I live in a basement apartment and the wifi wasn't great to play online and it was too far to set up a Ethernet cable. I have been using this both for wifi on other devices and put it close to my Xbox so I could hardwire it and noticed SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS. Ping dropped from over 300 to 45

Answer:	Dan Blake has the correct answer if you want to use your existing SSID. You cannot set it up that way (same SSID) using the WPS method. You'll have to use a second computer or device (I used my phone). Additionally, you'll need to also use the same password(s) for your existing SSID(s) and restart Wi-Fi (let it reconnect once) on each device to get a seamless network. If you want new networks, you can name then anything you want and set whatever passwords you want.
Question:	Is this compatible with xfinity comcast router? also, how many units will i need to cover from our office to outside courtyard room
Answer:	When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it's a worthless brick and customer service is absolutely reprehensible. The customer service line (since it isn't listed on the website is 888-638-4327) and the phone tree is rage-inducing, and the hold times are beyond ridiculous. I've been trying to get a human for about 15 minutes now, and I decided to fill the time by leaving warnings for others about their garbage-tier customer service.

Answer:	In my case, our router & cable internet connection was in my son's room. By the time we got to my room and other rooms in the house the connection got slower, more interruption, lousy TV streaming, etc. Now that we have this extender all of those issues have disappeared. No one can explain it in simpler terms than me because I listen to my son who is going to school for computer programming. I have no idea how any of this works! 

Answer:	I have the AC1200 Wifi Range Extender, (Model EX6150). It is worth the money as it seems to have a much more powerful range than my router. With both of them my range is extended significantly. the range easily covers a 3000SF highly insulated home (including all interior floors and walls). The Wifi signal is strong on 3 exterior porches as well. Setup was a breeze and the Wifi signal lights clearly let you know if you are too far from your router to power the extender.
Question:	Does it matter if my wall outlet is behind a piece of furniture? The only wall outlet I have available is behind my dresser
Answer:	I found out from experience that a mirror directly between your computer and the wifi router will weaken the signal. A metal filing cabinet would do the same, but wooden furniture doesn't hurt it at all.

Question:	can i put different password aside from the main router password? so only me can use my extender
Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.
Question:	Does it need to be plugged in near the router
Answer:	Try using the extender's IP address - just enter 192.168.1.250 in the browser window, while the unit is powered and in close proximity to your router, which should be powered also, of course !

Answer:	Yes. If you already have a WiFi router with 2.4G, you can configure the AV500 with the 2.4G SSID & security setting from that router. Having multiple WiFi sources (access points) with same SSID allows you to "roam" anywhere within the coverage of the router and extender (most WiFi enabled devices will try to connect to a stronger signal when the strenght of the current WiFi connection drops below an "acceptable" level).
Question:	Is this item suitable and computable with the internet speed between 150-250 mgbs
Answer:	Absolutely, it officially supports wired speeds up to 500Mbps and wireless speeds up to 300Mbps .
Question:	What’s the two ports on the bigger unit? Are they Ethernet ports
Answer:	To the best of my knowledge they are Ethernet ports. I had to stop using this product because I could no longer print from my phone. I’m not the most tech savvy person so you may not have this issue.
Question:	Does it works with 220 voltage line
Answer:	As far as I know, it will not. If you get a step-down transformer (or adapter), it will not work because it is no longer on the same physical circuit as your computer. Perhaps TL makes a 220-volt model.

Question:	How do these compare to the M9 plus which is Triband also with dedicated backhaul
Answer:	Well I can't provide a direct comparison but I chose the P9 because my house has old plaster walls with wire mesh which greatly reduced wifi signal strength. So the power line backhaul was very useful for me to get rid of deadzones. If you have a modern house I don't think there is will a noticeable difference unless you've added onto the house and you have exterior walls which tend to weaken the signal

Question:	If i have two deco p9 units connected via powerline, can i connect devices to the ethernet ports of both units to extend wired connections
Answer:	Absolutely. I have 3 Deco P9s and on the primary one port is connected to the router (as it has to be) with a computer plugged in to the second ethernet port. My second and third Decos are spread around the house for wifi coverage but also each have a desktop PC and a LAN printer connected to their ethernet ports and are acting like switches for these devices.
Question:	How does this work when it is in access point mode? Do they have to be wired into the main modem
Answer:	Since there are multiple products in this listing you're getting multiple answers. Jim used ethernet backhaul, the other customer used powerline backhaul, the answer is the M4 and S4 do ethernet backhaul, the P9, does powerline backhaul. In either case you don't have to do a hardwired backhaul, though, you just plug the "main" unit into your router and the other units will create a mesh and connect back to the main unit. Using powerline or ethernet instead will improve performance, but it's not mandatory. I have a really big house and have 10 units, and only one unit (on an upper floor) is using ethernet backhaul. The rest are part of a big mesh, and they route traffic back to the main unit through each other.

Answer:	A router has nothing to do with your internet provider. For Cox, you should have a cable modem. Just plug the WAN cable from your cable modem to the new router. If you have a combined cable modem and router from Cox. Call Cox to see if you can turn off the router side. Usually, when you get your internet from a cable company, they should have at least rent you a cable modem, if not the router.
Question:	Can I separate the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wireless bands
Answer:	What cords are you referring to? It does come with the power supply and cord to connect it to the router. It also comes with one SHORT (perhaps 5 ft) Cat 5 cord to connect your modem to the router. PS...that will leave 3 empty gigabit ports open on your router....but no cords are included for those.
