Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.

Answer:	Try using the extender's IP address - just enter 192.168.1.250 in the browser window, while the unit is powered and in close proximity to your router, which should be powered also, of course !

Answer:	If your Belkin connect to the ATT modem, then this can be an inbetween booster. I use it to boost from my Sprint modem 300 feet to a storage building where I have another extender that amplifies the signal from 2 bars to 4 bars.

Answer:	Yes, it does require an ethernet cable since the power is provided through that cable. The one I purchased is mounted on the building where the main router is located and provides wifi to a spotlight camera a couple hundred feet away.
Question:	what signal strength in DB's is the receiver rated? Reception is more important than transmit power

Answer:	Best option is just to use a poe switch. It will send power thru the ethernet cable. You can get a cheap one for 30ish bucks. Or you can simply get a replacement poe inserter for around 10$

Answer:	Until such time as they update their firmware, you want to avoid this device. When it works, it works great, but it frequently reboots itself back to default settings and drops all its programming. I have several in the field and they all act the same way.

Answer:	I have this mounted on top of my garage. I walked the perimeter of my property line which was about 300 yards away. It was incredible. If you get it up and in the open the range is amazing. Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
Question:	Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good
Answer:	If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.
Question:	Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range
Answer:	the input voltage is from 100 to 240 volts
Question:	I don't understand how some people give this 4-5 stars and others can't get it to work and give it 1 star
Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Answer:	This extender has worked for me on different TP-Link routers.
Question:	My house is hardwired but the main Wi-Fi router is in the extreme part of the house. Can this be hardwired and still provide seamless Wi-Fi
Answer:	Yes, it can work either hardwired as an access point or wirelessly as an extender of your WiFi network. The key to making a seamless network extension is by using the same wireless password as you use for your existing WiFi. This way devices can roam and you don't need to login again. I would recommend a wireless extender if you receive a good enough signal at your desired location. I find my Netgear signal as the strongest in my house. Your home construction will determine your strength of reception.
