Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Answer:	It depends on the area you need to cover. I have three in my home and this works great. I just added internet to my cottage an hour away. I put one unit there. It is more than adequate. Also it was really easy to add another network. I was done before the installer was out the driveway.

Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.

Answer:	Try using the extender's IP address - just enter 192.168.1.250 in the browser window, while the unit is powered and in close proximity to your router, which should be powered also, of course !

Answer:	I used this cable to connect the digital coax output of a Sony DVD player to the digital coax input of a Peachtree Preamp which feeds the DAC in the preamp, bypassing the DAC in the DVD player. It is not used as a speaker cable in my system. I would guess that it is never used as a speaker cable, but I know nothing about a vizio soundbar and what its connectors are supposed to be. Answer:	Dan Blake has the correct answer if you want to use your existing SSID. You cannot set it up that way (same SSID) using the WPS method. You'll have to use a second computer or device (I used my phone). Additionally, you'll need to also use the same password(s) for your existing SSID(s) and restart Wi-Fi (let it reconnect once) on each device to get a seamless network. If you want new networks, you can name then anything you want and set whatever passwords you want.

Note:

Initially please setup WiFi extender in the same room with your existing router, then move your WiFi extender to other electrical outlet which is halfway between your router and area with poor router WiFi signal. Please do not install WiFi extender in WiFi dead spot where router WiFi signal is not available.

Smart Wireless Signal Strength Indicator

Signal LED indicates wireless signal strength between WiFi extender and your existing router. After initial setup, you can move your WiFi extender to any electrical outlets by reading the color of signal LED.

1. For optimal WiFi performance, please install WiFi extender at least 3 feet away from the ground or ceiling floor.

Answer:	You just need to follow the instruction in the package. It is very straightforward. 1. Reset the extender and reconfigure one more time. 2. Look for "UPPOON-2G" or "UPPOON-5G" in your WiFi list - it should be an open network. Make sure your computer or mobile phone (disable mobile data) is connected to the extender network, NOT your router network. The extender default SSID is "UPPOON-5G" or "UPPOON-2G" 3. Open Google/Safari browser and log IP: 192.168.10.1 then enter the default password "admin" and click "LOGIN". (make sure it doesn't capitalize the 'a' in admin - that won't allow you in.)
