Answer:	I had the same problem. They provided a link to download the drivers, which I did. I installed them on my MacBook Pro and attempted to restart as prompted. My trusty Mac refused to restart even in "safe mode". Tried rebooting in recovery mode and again, would not boot up. I ended up reinstalling my entire drive from a back up drive. Total time wasted=5 hours and I sent this back for a refund. Don't bother wasting your money if you have a Mac, it will only cause you grief.
Question:	im confused is this a device that will allow a non wifi laptop/desktop to have wifi? can i use it simply as a booster for my wifi enabled laptop
Answer:	To be technical this creates another network adapter for your computer/laptop. It can NOT be used as a booster for range with an existing wireless adapter. It might get better range than your current adapter. But it will not supplement it at all. Completely separate device from any other network adapter (wired or wireless).

Answer:	Hey guys, I'm able to have it working on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. I did follow the dkms solution posted by the other user; the script ran into an error, that's when I noticed the shell script requires a manual edit to edit out the version number for the driver's directory, once that's done the shell script ran just fine. Also, I had this adapter plugged into a USB 2.0 port, and the wifi would not accept the password; once I plug it into a USB 3.0 port (duh, lol) the wifi accepted the password and working just fine.

Question:	Can it be used for a home surveillance camera system
Answer:	I really don't know as of yet if this device does that or not. I run Linux (Debian 8.6, Linux Mint 18, 17.3, forget Ubuntu-I found too much spyware in that coupled with a wincrap laptop here somewhere) myself and just had not the time to mess with it on these features. It does work well on Linux under Ndiswrapper though I know I can do better with my own driver soon. Just had surgery on my eyes so give me a few weeks as they heal but you can contact me at Kstein_8551 at Yahoo.com. That is the public email address I use mostly. Another winmodem that does well with what you want is Netgear 6210 (1900-3.0usb) but you will have to download the chip source and make the driver for it. Not the netgear one. I just searched Duckduckgo for the chipset ID from lsusb command to get the chipset code. Answer:	I don't know but i got rid of the orbis and went to amplifi hd. The orbis automatically update firmware and were nothing but headaches. The amplifi hds work perfectly.

Answer:	Yes this will work on dsl, however don’t expect good speeds as you are limited by the bandwidth of dsl. As for a modem you will have to ask you isp for a compatible list.

Answer:	Both systems are fine for a small office. I have the orbi pro and I installed one for our local Moose Organization. They work great. However, the Orbi wifi 6 utilizes WIFI 6 Technology which is 4x faster. I also believe the Orbi Wifi 6 system has a longer range of coverage for 5000 feet of coverage.

Answer:	We use this for our church and it consists of 3 detached buildings. The main building we use streaming, etc. So far so good. The only problem with such distance is if multiple users sign on may freeze.

Answer:	The short answer is that 2.4 GHz will generally register as having better signal strength compared to 5GHz. Windows tends to prefer this, and most consumer routers won't signal the endpoint to switch to 5GHz. You can fix this by going to the advanced adapter properties, and seeing if you can set it to "Prefer 5GHz". Alternatively, the WiFi Mode setting can be set to a set that excludes 2.4GHz like 802.11 a/c/n/ac.
