(NOTE: If you're using an off-brand controller, it will NOT support any chat functions at all)To clarify, yes it will work and no you don't need Microsoft's stereo adapter to make it work, it'll work as is.

Answer:	Yes you can, there is a headphone jack on the side of visor. However, the cord will have slack and dangle loosely, which can be irritating if you quickly move your head around. I just ran my headset cord to my PC's headphone jack and changed Windows and the Oculus software to use it instead of the Oculus speakers/mic.

Answer:	Open the Steamvr app and click the words Steamvr at the top left. Click Devices then Pair Controller. Follow the instructions on the screen to add the new controller. When it asks you to update the controller, you can use the charger cord that came with it

Answer:	These controllers are not as good as the Oculus touch controllers. They have a faulty design where the thumb pad has a little rubber disc underneath it and it gets messed up after use. It's an easy fix once you know how to do it but I did ruin my 1st 2 controllers by using too much glue. Other than that the touchpad is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I hate to knock this controller but HTC screwed up the design really bad. (also keep in mind if you do attempt repair yourself you void warranty)

Answer:	Why is it so expensive? One of my controllers refuses to charge even after numerous resets and I'm out of warranty so I need a new one. But this is just ridiculous.

Answer:	When you only have room to install (1) fan, you ALWAYS set it to blow outward/exhausting warm air out of the case, and the negative pressure caused by the air-loss will naturally draw in cool air from the outside into the case. This will create a nice airflow of cool and warm air passing through-out the case at all times. Whereas if you set it to blow on the Cpu? You only succeed in blowing warm air around and NOT providing any ventilation. Also one benefit of this case's extremely tight fit is, the fan will be practically nose-to-nose with your Cpu & Heatsink. Making it excellent for cooling. Just make sure you set the fan to exhaust so it can draw heat away from the Cpu and cool properly in a single-fan set-up.

Answer:	I just came across this and wanted to leave the correct answer here. If you hold the Y button when plugging in the controller it will switch to Dinput and the X and C buttons will work (you only have to do this one time)

Answer:	I have a heat sink on the ram, CPU, and USB / Ethernet ports. If you want to use a fan as well you might need to forgo the CPU sink as there isn't a ton of space in there but with some of the heat sinks they make and a thinner fan you might be able to get it done.

Answer:	OK, here's my understanding - you can't load them ON it. Only some small games can actually be loaded directly onto the device. However, any game can be played wirelessly, with a good wifi network. Basically, you will install the games through Viveport or through Steam - either way, they will end up in your Steam library. Then you launch Steam VR, then launch the game. In the headset make sure that your PC Streaming is turned on, then open Steam VR on the headset device. The game will be ready and waiting for you. Alternatively, once the game has been launched a time or two, the headset will "see" it in the "on your pc" section of the headset's Library, and launching it there will launch the game on the PC through Steam VR and also automatically open Steam VR on the headset.

So far, every game I have tried that says that has installed directly on to the headset rather than running through Steam VR - for example, Fruit Ninja installs locally and says the same thing, whereas Crisis Vrigade 2 plays through Steam and does not list compatibility with the Focus Plus (although it plays great if your PC is capable.) My understanding is that VR Chat would play without the PC.

Answer:	It comes with a wire! It is NOT wireless, you will still need to purchase the wireless adapter for the Cosmo collection not just the wireless adapter!

Answer:	All required cables come with the unit. The kit only lacks the lighthouses and controllers. Be sure the unit is plugged in prior to running the installer as it seems to have bad options if run without the Cosmos plugged in. It works well with the Vive wireless kit as well once you get it set up... unfortunately the setup is super janky and requires a lot of troubleshooting. Good luck! It's worth it when you can get it working.

Answer:	You need Vive or HTC tracking stations to use these--at least one, preferably two or more--as well as OpenVR space calibrator software. It's a bit of a kludge, they work without extra software with the headsets that already use base stations like the Vive or Index.
