Answer:	Is your gaming headset USB? If the end of your headset is standard USB, all this cable does is make that cable longer.

Answer:	Cord is not a "lump" cord, but it is very flexible. You could easily wrap it around your palm, for example, if you wanted to store it that way with a rubber band around it ... cord is about 3/16" thick.
