Question:	What is the depth of cut? And how much wood does it leave from the groove
Answer:	read the information about the bit. the depth of the cut can change by the distance from a fence
Question:	What is the cutting depth of these bits
Answer:	In the normal setup, the depth is 1/2". The extended tenon feature is accomplished by removing the top of the bit on the right side. I've made perhaps a dozen doors with this set with great results.
Question:	Can I do on 1.75 thickness wood
Answer:	not very well . Work on a maximum thickness of 1.25 inches. You would have to set up to cut at that thickness than rip the remaining 1/2" off with a table saw when cutting the tongue. The groove could be cut
Question:	Is this 1/4" or 1/2" shank
Answer:	This bit has multiple options to choose from. Various styles and configurations. Some are 1/4 some are 1/2 just select the bit you want and read the description.
