Question:	Is usb-c port compatible with dp alt mode
Answer:	Yes one of the usb c ports works as dp alt. The monitor has no battery. So when you do not plug the monitor to a wall port with the other usb c port for charging it with power it self from the computer or phone. Doesnt draw to much power tho my phone runs it pretty steady without draining to much battery.
Question:	Can i use it with surface pro
Answer:	Yes you can but you would need to but a mini display 1.2 to hdmi adapter. The 3 cables that come with the monitor are a hdmi to mini hdmi a usb to usb c for charging and a usb c to usb c for display from newer android phones like the galaxy's. So for it to work the adapter would have to connect to the hdmi cable that comes with it no mini display ports on the monitor. But for the price the monitor is worth a 7 dollar adapter it works great.

Answer:	There is no HDMI input on this specific model (MB16ACE) and the Asus website says nothing about HDMI support. You can buy an HDMI to USB-C cable on Amazon, but I don't know if that would work. If that's a deal-breaker, you might want to look at something else. Asus does make the Zenscreen MB16AMT and the Zenscreen MB16AHP, which have a micro-HDMI input, as well as a built-in battery. The former is also touch-compatible. They are only marginally thicker (1mm) and .1kg heavier. But, otherwise, are similar.
