For a 17-inch display, the NEC AccuSync 70M is a stout little performer. While we were a little put off by the weak refresh rates at high resolutions, we found the AccuSync to be an inexpensive and capable for any small or home office.

At the recommended resolution of 1,024 x 768, the AccuSync 70M boasts a solid refresh rate of 87 Hz, making it easy on the eyes, and its modest dimensions conserve valuable desk space. At higher resolutions, the AccuSync 70's biggest flaw is apparent--weak refresh rates. Topping out at a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 at 66 Hz, screen flicker is apparent and irritating. This definitely isn't the monitor for power users. However, for small or home offices, the AccuSync handles business apps, Internet browsing, and day-to-day use just fine.

The 70M offers a complete multimedia experience, thanks to the built-in audio amplifier and stereo speakers. While not necessarily the best monitor on the block, the NEC AccuSync 70M is a good price-to-performance option for those on a budget. --Dan Simpson

Answer:	Sennheiser has a manufacturing plant in Ireland where some models of their headphones are made. The product sheet for my pair of HD600s was printed in Ireland and the general word on the street is this model is made there. The HD800 is currently manufactured in Germany but most of the other models are made in Ireland with a few in China. A Google search of 'HD6600 made in Ireland' will get you some discussion boards on this subject. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'll put it this way: These cans play the song that was recorded the way it was recorded. If the artist didn't make it thump these won't make it thump. So if you want your headphones to add bass that wasn't recorded by the artist then these won't do that. These play EXACTLY what was recorded. So if you don't like the bass response of these then you are a person that likes your music with added bass that the artist never intended.

Answer:	They do leak sound because they're and open-back headphone so if others are around you and you have the volume up louder they'll hear it but if you have the volume lower then I don't think it would be much of a problem. The Hifiman HE-400 has much more sound leakage than the HD600 and of the open-back HP's I've heard the HD600 is one of the better ones as gar as the least amount of leakage not to mention they sound amazing.

Answer:	I own the audiophile grade Sennheiser HD600 headphones. I purchased them when they first came out. Best used with a headphone amplifier. My son owns the Beats by Dre headphones which are designed to boost the bass unnaturally. The Sennheiser HD600’s are far superior.
