Answer:	Does not fit my versa mount, just a little too narrow. FAIL

Answer:	Comparing with my macbook pro retina, I can say that the black seems to be pretty accurate. However, note that this is not a glossy display like the Macbook/ Apple Thunderbolt display, So the blacks are not as 'deep'. I switched from a Thunderbolt display and like the matte screen better as it has less/negligible reflection.
Question:	Does the monitor wake up when you plug in a closed macbook or do you have to open your macbook for the monitor to turn on
Answer:	It depends on whether your MacBook is awake or not. If it's closed it will likely be in sleep mode so when you connect it to the monitor (I use a mini displayport to displayport connection) the monitor wakes from power save mode to say it has no signal (because your MacBook is asleep). If you've just recently closed your MacBook and connect it to the monitor, the monitor will light up with your desktop (because your MacBook hasn't gone to sleep yet).If what you're really asking if you can connect the monitor to the laptop and start using it with a Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad without having to open the laptop, then the answer is "yes." I usually use this monitor with my MacBook closed and I wake them both at the same time by typing on my Bluetooth keyboard or tapping on my Bluetooth trackpad. You need to have this feature turned on in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences on your MacBook for this to work though.

Answer:	Yes. The other responder seems to think this monitor goes above 60hz which it does not. a GTX 1060 will do just fine with this monitor for most games. Just make sure to cap frame rates at 60FPS in game settings. Also keep in mind most games with a competitive mode (i.e. FPS and RTS) will often limit the screen to 16:9 aspect ratio so you will have black bars on the sides.

Answer:	Nothing will get damaged. Why would LG make something that would damage your computer? The worst that will happen is the battery on your Mac will not charge fully or will drain slowly while connected but that will only happen if you're doing anything high performance for an extended period of time using a lot of CPU which would use a lot of power. 60 watts is more than enough power for a 15" or 16" Macbook Pro under most circumstances.

Answer:	It's really nice. The picture is really good with very little light falloff in the corners. No perceptible flicker even on the lowest backlight setting. I'm a software developer and stare at screens for 8hours a day. I've returned a monitor due to eye strain and it's something I was worried about too. I'm VERY happy with this monitor.

Answer:	Yes, it can be used in a small coop, that’s how I used it. I also had a temperature gauge to ensure the temperature was accurate, consistent and appropriate for the chicks during their growth process. I liked the ceramic heat lamp because it didn’t produce light at night time. I noticed the chicks slept through the night thoroughly, which I felt was really important. Our chicks are now at nine weeks, outside and doing really well. I may use the heat lamp again this winter in their outside coop if we get some severe cold. Hope this helps.

Answer:	From a distance of 12 inches you will have about an 11 inch radius area hovering at about 90°. The farther away the less heat, and the closer the more heat, etc. I have two over a 75 gallon tank and they do great. Make sure you know what temperatures your creature should be at and always remember they don’t have to be perfect. A modified sine wave inverter can work well for ordinary equipment and appliances, like tablets, televisions, and cameras and so on, but may not operate well when used for precise equipment that may have delicate electronics or audio devices which need choppy waves. There are only two types of electronics that you need to be concerned about when using a modified sine wave inverter: appliances that use AC motors and certain classes of delicate medical equipment. Answer:	60hz is the maximum refresh for native resolution of 1920 x 1080. I tested 75hz, which is misleadingly listed as maximum vertical refresh rate many places for this monitor, but 1920 x 1080 at 75hz is not possible, even with a custom resolution forced. 75hz only works at lower resolutions, like 1024 x 768, which looks terrible so that's useless as far as I'm concerned

The ports function as a USB hub and a keyboard, mouse, or USB device can be connected to the USB port, but to use the USB Downstream ports on the monitor, you must connect the Upstream port of monitor to a Host PC using a USB C-C or a USB C-A cable. The Upstream port is the USB-C port. When the USB C-C cable is connected between the Upstream port of the monitor and a Host PC, the Downstream ports of the monitor support USB 2.0 device and when the USB C-A cable is connected between the Upstream port of the monitor and Host PC, the Downstream ports of the monitor support USB 3.0 devices, but the Host PC must support USB 3.0 functionality...^IFV

Answer:	AT CES 2019, NVidia announced support for non-gsync enabled monitors. Check blogs.nvidia.com, post for 1/6. Drivers are now available with the support turned on. They had an initial list of supported monitors and stated many would be compatible that had not been officially tested. I believe most 'recent' adaptive-sync and freesync monitors will work. You just need to go to the nvidia settings panel and try it out.

Answer:	To expand on the other answers: Yes the monitor supports VESA mounting (100x100) and yes the recessed mounting points make it a pain if your mounting plate is slightly too big. The depth of the recessed cavity is ~7mm (which is just a hair over 1/4th inch) so plan on ordering spacers that are, at minimum, that wide. The monitor's mounting holes require M4 bolts/screws, so make sure to order a kit with M4 screws and with enough length to compensate for the addition of the spacer.
