Answer:	To expand on the other answers: Yes the monitor supports VESA mounting (100x100) and yes the recessed mounting points make it a pain if your mounting plate is slightly too big. The depth of the recessed cavity is ~7mm (which is just a hair over 1/4th inch) so plan on ordering spacers that are, at minimum, that wide. The monitor's mounting holes require M4 bolts/screws, so make sure to order a kit with M4 screws and with enough length to compensate for the addition of the spacer.

Answer:	I had the exact same question in September when I was looking for a new monitor. I went to LG's website and found that both monitors had the exact same specs. (The only difference between the spec sheets is merely linguistic--one has "Radeon Freesync" and the other has "AMD Freesync," which are the same thing). I decided to go with the 27UN850 instead of the 27 UL850 on the off chance there were minor improvements to the internals, but, again, I couldn't find any difference on the spec sheets.

Answer:	As indicated in the title, the LG 27'' UltraGear 4K UHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz G-Sync Compatible Gaming Monitor, Model # 27GN950-B is a G-Sync Compatible monitor. A G-SYNC compatible monitor is essentially an Adaptive-Sync display that’s been validated by NVIDIA to work without any issues (such as flickering and other visual artifacts) through their testing and at the moment, the G-SYNC Compatible mode is only supported over DisplayPort on monitors, and it requires a GTX 10-series or newer GPU, Windows 10, and at least the 417.71 NVIDIA drivers...^IFV

Answer:	I work editing videos and watch 4K videos with my drones and this has to ve the best Monitor out there to date. That being said the main reason I purchased was for its compatability with my Macbook Pro AND when you buy the best it will last you for years and years before needing to buy another monitor.
Question:	Is it 1ms or 5ms
Answer:	If you look at the video on the product and FF to 3:50 in the Game Mode Settings it has an option called 1ms Motion Blur Reduction.

Answer:	LG 27UL850-W 27. Each monitor came with USB-C, HDMI and Display Port cables. Monitors delivered August 4, 2020.
Question:	Given the limitations of hdmi2.0 and dp1.2, does this monitor support a lower refresh rate while outputting 4k,4:4:4 chroma sampling, 10bit-hdr
Answer:	Chroma Subsampling of 4:4:4 is supported for 4K @ 60 Hz and runs at 17.82Gbps, but only with the default 8-bit BT.709 color. That’s the same color gamut as 720p and 1080i/p. The whole point of HDR is to increase color volume, which it can’t do unless there’s first an increased color gamut. That means stepping up to BT.2020, which in turn means 10- or 12-bit deep color. The HDMI 2.0 spec also calls for a minimum 10-bit color with BT.2020. From a menu where 4K is the main dish, and 60fps, 4:4:4 and HDR are the three side options, you can only choose two. As long as you keep it under 18Gbps, you can have 4K 60 4:4:4 (no HDR) = 17.82Gbps, 4K 30 4:4:4 10b-HDR (no 60fps) = 11.14Gbps, or 4K 60 4:2:2 10b-HDR (no 4:4:4) = 17.82Gbps. 4K 60 4:4:4 10b-HDR = 22.28Gbps and there currently isn't any 4K 60 4:4:4 HDR supported by HDMI 2.0.
