Answer:	TLDR: Generally, yes - but only if you want internet. However, this depends entirely on your type of internet service. Let's start by discussing the difference between a modem and a router... A modem provides a connection to the global internet by transmitting, receiving, and converting data from your internet service provider (ISP). Typically these will connect to the wall with a coaxial cable and will produce a live ethernet port on the back of the modem. A router connects your local devices together and provides a WiFi connection to assist in this process. Routers do not provide access to the global internet without a modem. Answer:	This is a lot harder to answer than a simple number. In my home I have about 75ft diameter from the router. My home is about 2000sq ft and I have signal from one corner to the other. My farthest device is separated by about 4 walls and still pulls in about 400mbps down.

I do not notice any bleeding light along the edges, further I think the image quality is great. Answer:	The two monitors are very similar. However, with the slightly larger price tag of the 239 comes the IPS display. While both screens have the same resolution, IPS technology resolves the issue of very limited viewing angle that can appear with non IPS displays, as well as improving color reproduction (i.e. the screen appears more vivid and closer to actual coloration). The 239 states that it has a 178 degree viewing angle, where color and shape of the image is lost even when looking at different angles. I can attest to this, as my display can be viewed from all over with the same great color reproduction. Hope my answer helped!
