How to switch s mode to windows 10



On your PC running Windows 10 in S mode, open Settings  > Update & Security  > Activation.

Answer:	Yes, it has dual bands. I'm not exactly sure about the guest access but I want to say yes, it does. I currently do not have it installed so I can't be certain.

Answer:	Andrew, at this time I cannot recommend this router. I am currently on my third replacement and am considering taking a lose just to get some stability.I absolutely loved the dual band out of the box, the setup was extremely easy and for a few days very happy.However the router just died out of the blue with no warning.I paid for the advanced RMA from Western Digital and weeks went by before getting a call from WD that the AC1300 was not available. I'm not sure if they are phasing it out or what but the offered me the N900 Central as a replacement.I took the upgrade because it still offers dual band and bonus of 2GB internal drive.Unfortunately DOA #1 out of the box... #2 came in with corrupt firmware and now with the one I have I will not upgrade the firmware because it kills the ability to utilize the WD2GO functionality of the unit.I moved the WD family of routers because I love my WDLiveHub but for whatever reason the quality of the routers does NOT come close to the quality the put into the WDLiveHub. Sorry for the long response but I wanted to give the good and the bad, hope this helps

Answer:	My AC 1300 arrived inoperable. And WD is pretty much thrown in the towel on there routers. I had the previous model and it made it to the top floor of my home but did not perform well. I bought a netgear 2420 router, and it works awesomely it even extends outside in my back yard so guests and myself are still connected and receive great performance. The previous model I just use as a passageway as it has several ethernet ports. I hope this helps
