Question:	Why is this unavailable everywhere? Has it been discontinued? Is there a newer model? Thank you
Answer:	The G9 is not discontinued. Over the summer, Samsung had some quality control issues where the light was bleeding through the panel/bezel, which caused them to pull units and re-inspect/re-package them again. You'll know you got a repackaged one if you see a small blue circle sticker on your box and if it looks like the bottom was re-taped (like mine was). As of now (Sept/Oct 2020), they are starting to come back into stock more often on Amazon once a week, but it's best to set up an alert/email notification on Amazon or via nowinstock or an extension, as it sells out quickly. Usually within a few hours, especially now at the new lower 1349 price point. There is also a "business" class monitor of the G9 that is very similar to this model number. Not much is currently known about it.
Question:	did they fix the flickering issue? or should wait for 2021 version
Answer:	I updated firmware to 1008.1 for the G9 but still get minor flickering here and there when adaptive vsync is on. Enabling vrr fixes the flickering but causes stuttering. Bought a good quality dp 1.4 cable that will be coming in tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I may consider contacting samsung for repair/replacement. I know there are some that have bought this monitor with no flicker issues. Its certified as gsync compatible so it should be flicker free but unfortunately it's not. Never had that flicker issue with my previous gsync monitor that I've used for the past 5 years.

Answer:	To expand on the other answers: Yes the monitor supports VESA mounting (100x100) and yes the recessed mounting points make it a pain if your mounting plate is slightly too big. The depth of the recessed cavity is ~7mm (which is just a hair over 1/4th inch) so plan on ordering spacers that are, at minimum, that wide. The monitor's mounting holes require M4 bolts/screws, so make sure to order a kit with M4 screws and with enough length to compensate for the addition of the spacer.

Answer:	Yes. The other responder seems to think this monitor goes above 60hz which it does not. a GTX 1060 will do just fine with this monitor for most games. Just make sure to cap frame rates at 60FPS in game settings. Also keep in mind most games with a competitive mode (i.e. FPS and RTS) will often limit the screen to 16:9 aspect ratio so you will have black bars on the sides.

Answer:	Nothing will get damaged. Why would LG make something that would damage your computer? The worst that will happen is the battery on your Mac will not charge fully or will drain slowly while connected but that will only happen if you're doing anything high performance for an extended period of time using a lot of CPU which would use a lot of power. 60 watts is more than enough power for a 15" or 16" Macbook Pro under most circumstances.

Answer:	It's really nice. The picture is really good with very little light falloff in the corners. No perceptible flicker even on the lowest backlight setting. I'm a software developer and stare at screens for 8hours a day. I've returned a monitor due to eye strain and it's something I was worried about too. I'm VERY happy with this monitor.

Answer:	You have to go in your settings. I have notifications on for text, calls and Facebook messenger notifications. On the main page if you hit the more button under your steps and hours it will show three buttons. You want to hit the settings button (It looks like a gear). Question:	Is the freesync (32gk650f-b) version capable of g-sync? i don't see it on the list of compatible monitors on nvidia's site
Answer:	As Seps mentioned, when paired with a 1070+ or 2070+ series NVIDIA card this IS capable of G-Sync... HOWEVER, the catch is it must be manually enabled AND every time the monitor goes to sleep OR the computer gets rebooted it must be manually re-enabled. I bought this one along with a 2070 and while it works with G-Sync it was just too much of a pain and returned it and purchased the G-Sync version. The official G-Sync works perfectly every time without issue. If you’re looking for G-Sync just out the extra for the G-Sync version and you won’t be disappointed. Now if you just wanted it for a work display this one is very nice.

Question:	Can you play ps4 on it? What does it mean ps4 not compatible with freesync
Answer:	Yes the PS4 will function as intended while connected to this monitor. The problem, the PS4 will not make full use of all the tech functions (FreeSync & 144Hz) within the monitor. The reason, the PS4 is only capable of producing 60 FPS & FreeSync is specific to PC AMD GPUs (w/ the exception of various gSync GPUs). Logically, this decision ultimately constitutes the purchase of this monitor as a bad buy & waste of money. My suggestion, purchase both a monitor with approx 75Hz cause the PS4 will utilize almost or all of the available 75Hz & a TN monitor rather than an IPS monitor cause, imo, the price variance does not justify the purchase considering the functional differences of the two types of monitors. You will not only save a fair amount of money purchasing a monitor w/ 75Hz instead of the overly abundant 144Hz monitor, but you will save a fair amount of money going w/ TN rather than IPS monitors.

Question:	Has anyone tried to see of it's gsync compatible
Answer:	For those with Freesync to Gsync issues, like flickering, try this because it worked on my Acer that just got supported too. Plug in the monitor via DVI (freesync isn't supported and shuts off), in the on screen monitor control panel you should now be able to turn off Overdrive. Plug it back in using the Display Port and double check all Nvidia Control Panel options and OSD menu that Gsync is on. For mine, it seemed at factory it got locked to FreeSync, Normal Overdrive, 60Hz. Plugging in a cable turned it off and even tho Gsync said 144hz the monitor on screen menu said 60, now says 144 tho, and without AMD it can't turn back on, but GSync took over and now everything seems fine
