Answer:	TLDR: Generally, yes - but only if you want internet. However, this depends entirely on your type of internet service. Let's start by discussing the difference between a modem and a router... Answer:	This is a lot harder to answer than a simple number. In my home I have about 75ft diameter from the router. My home is about 2000sq ft and I have signal from one corner to the other. My farthest device is separated by about 4 walls and still pulls in about 400mbps down.

Answer:	It is more like the mesh letter trays, but has a hollow bottom with just metal edges. It has rubber cushion feet on the bottom corners. It doesn't move around much because of the weight of my printer on it. I haven't had any problems with it scratching my desk top and I have slid it around plenty of times, but if you are worried about scratching your surface, you could put some thicker rubber or felt feet on the bottom corners to make sure that there is absolutely no chance of it doing so.

Answer:	It will work for pc if all you have is an HDMI cord. However, if you are trying to use FREESYNC with pc this monitor will not work. At least my graphics card, like most, require a display port cable to use G-Sync/Freesync and this monitor does not have a display port connection. Mine has horrible screen tearing because there is no way to use the free sync technology with pc.
