Answer:	It is a setting in the monitor menu, accessed through the buttons on the back of the screen, and can be controlled by you. It won't come on automatically. If you do want it to do so automatically, and you use Win 10, you can use the night light settings in Windows, which do the same thing, and set them to come on at a certain time.

While both screens have the same resolution, IPS technology resolves the issue of very limited viewing angle that can appear with non IPS displays, as well as improving color reproduction (i.e. the screen appears more vivid and closer to actual coloration). The 239 states that it has a 178 degree viewing angle, where color and shape of the image is lost even when looking at different angles. I can attest to this, as my display can be viewed from all over with the same great color reproduction. Hope my answer helped!

Answer:	It is VESA mountable. Pry off the cover around the support arm with your fingernail. (It's thin, don't pry at the notch closer to the front!) If your mounting plate is much bigger that 115mm square, you will need some washers to make up for the thickness of the removed cover. As an alternative, drill holes in the cover for the mounting screws, which is what I did. I used 15mm long screws with a 4mm thick plate and a single washer below the screwhead.

Answer:	it is matted, but not dull like old LCD screens. The frame is glossy plastic.There is very little glare compared to a glossy screen. I am staring at the thing as I am typing. I would post a photo if I could

Answer:	When I play something like battlefield 3 there is a bit of eye strain after some time. Not sure how much of that is the monitor though rather than the fast movements. The latency is fine. The main thing to note is that this is a 60hz monitor refresh rate. I can see the static dance around slightly more over a monitor that refreshes at 120hz. Though I imagine most wouldn't notice that aspect. For long hours of gaming that may make a big difference when it comes to fatigue. Something to consider.
Question:	Say I want to hook up a VGA and a HDMI cable to this monitor, Is there any way to have the sound come out of a output and into speakers
Answer:	100% with fryque. The sound quality is better on my phone FROM the bottom of a well on this set so it's a yes/no answer. Yes, there are speakers but no, don't get this set if you want to use the in-built speakers. It would have been less painful if it comes with a remote but adjusting the volume with the bottom facing buttons (2nd button from left, press once for menu, press again to lower vol, press 2 buttons over for higher vol, oops press the wrong button, now where am I now, how do I get back to the previous menu (then sound of wife calling me for help). Fuggabotit. Alas, they roped me in with the rebate which I sent in with the box cutout. So of course I can't return it. Now I have to buy another unit.

Answer:	There are different input options when ordering, I ordered HDMI (2) & VGA (1) One other option is HDMI (1), DP (1) & VGA (1) It does include a DVI to HDMI adapter cable and a VGA cable but NO HDMI cable. So if your computer is less than 10 years old you will need to supply your own HDMI cable.
