Answer:	Entirely depends on what games and how you want to play. 1440p and 4K are great for cinematic, but if you are competitive and want to play siege/cod or any FPS where how something reacts vs how something looks is more important, then I would say 1080 at 144hz, 1 ms response is your best option. I just went through a 4K and 1440p and this monitor is what’s worked the best for me (destiny trials of Osiris)

Answer:	Being that this isnt a g-sync monitor, the answer is that g-sync does not work with this monitor. I am using an nvidia gtx 970 with it, and am getting 144 frame capped with no tearing at all

Question:	Is this an ips panel (asking because of the lcd label, these usually are ips panels
Answer:	It is VESA mountable. Pry off the cover around the support arm with your fingernail. (It's thin, don't pry at the notch closer to the front!) If your mounting plate is much bigger that 115mm square, you will need some washers to make up for the thickness of the removed cover. As an alternative, drill holes in the cover for the mounting screws, which is what I did. I used 15mm long screws with a 4mm thick plate and a single washer below the screwhead.

Answer:	It is a setting in the monitor menu, accessed through the buttons on the back of the screen, and can be controlled by you. It won't come on automatically. If you do want it to do so automatically, and you use Win 10, you can use the night light settings in Windows, which do the same thing, and set them to come on at a certain time.

Answer:	Yes, although I keep mine at 160hz. While playing Red Dead Redemption 2 I experienced some slight flickering when the screen turned mostly white at the full 170hz Although in counter strike and other games I had no issues. Monitor is insanely awesome! Was skeptical at first of the price tag, but now that I have it I couldn’t go back! Also easy to switch from different Monitor speeds on the fly. So going from 170 to 160 or 144 and back is quick and simple.

Answer:	It will work for pc if all you have is an HDMI cord. However, if you are trying to use FREESYNC with pc this monitor will not work. At least my graphics card, like most, require a display port cable to use G-Sync/Freesync and this monitor does not have a display port connection. Mine has horrible screen tearing because there is no way to use the free sync technology with pc.
