Answer:	It is a setting in the monitor menu, accessed through the buttons on the back of the screen, and can be controlled by you. It won't come on automatically. If you do want it to do so automatically, and you use Win 10, you can use the night light settings in Windows, which do the same thing, and set them to come on at a certain time.

Answer:	It is VESA mountable. Pry off the cover around the support arm with your fingernail. (It's thin, don't pry at the notch closer to the front!) If your mounting plate is much bigger that 115mm square, you will need some washers to make up for the thickness of the removed cover. As an alternative, drill holes in the cover for the mounting screws, which is what I did. I used 15mm long screws with a 4mm thick plate and a single washer below the screwhead.

While both screens have the same resolution, IPS technology resolves the issue of very limited viewing angle that can appear with non IPS displays, as well as improving color reproduction (i.e. the screen appears more vivid and closer to actual coloration). The 239 states that it has a 178 degree viewing angle, where color and shape of the image is lost even when looking at different angles. Answer:	The 34" has 100Hz refresh rate. I own it and my settings have it set at 100Hz.
Question:	how well does it work with macbook pro
Answer:	If you want the full 2560x1440 resolution, HDMI won't do it (at least on earlier MacBook Pros). HDMI cable to Thunderbolt port (with adaptor dongle) will only give you up to 1920x1080. Order a separate Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable to get full clear 2560x1440 display.

Answer:	Yes, this is a matte finish. I have had my screen for 3 months now and love it. I have ordered another one for my desk to I can have dual monitors to work from. Exceptional vivid colors on this screen.
