Question:	Can you play ps4 on it? What does it mean ps4 not compatible with freesync
Answer:	Yes the PS4 will function as intended while connected to this monitor. The problem, the PS4 will not make full use of all the tech functions (FreeSync & 144Hz) within the monitor. The reason, the PS4 is only capable of producing 60 FPS & FreeSync is specific to PC AMD GPUs (w/ the exception of various gSync GPUs). Logically, this decision ultimately constitutes the purchase of this monitor as a bad buy & waste of money. My suggestion, purchase both a monitor with approx 75Hz cause the PS4 will utilize almost or all of the available 75Hz & a TN monitor rather than an IPS monitor cause, imo, the price variance does not justify the purchase considering the functional differences of the two types of monitors. You will not only save a fair amount of money purchasing a monitor w/ 75Hz instead of the overly abundant 144Hz monitor, but you will save a fair amount of money going w/ TN rather than IPS monitors.

Answer:	For those with Freesync to Gsync issues, like flickering, try this because it worked on my Acer that just got supported too. Plug in the monitor via DVI (freesync isn't supported and shuts off), in the on screen monitor control panel you should now be able to turn off Overdrive. Plug it back in using the Display Port and double check all Nvidia Control Panel options and OSD menu that Gsync is on. For mine, it seemed at factory it got locked to FreeSync, Normal Overdrive, 60Hz. Plugging in a cable turned it off and even tho Gsync said 144hz the monitor on screen menu said 60, now says 144 tho, and without AMD it can't turn back on, but GSync took over and now everything seems fine

Answer:	Yeah I was having the same issue. Turns out, HDMI2 port on the monitor doesn't do 60Hz. Try HDMI1 port. It should work. I spent 30 minutes plugging and unplugging. They should prob label that better ngl.

When people in general use DisplayPort with a GeForce Nvidia 10, 16, or 20 Series card through G-Sync Compatibility, to a monitor such as these AOC gaming monitors, you will be guaranteed the maximum frames per second that the particular DisplayPort can handle. Example: a 1080p Full HD monitor (like these AOC powered gaming monitors) with DisplayPort 1.2 can go all the way up to 144 frames per second. An HDMI cable equivalent to the DisplayPort 1.2 (mentioned in the previous sentence) sometimes cannot guarantee 144 frames per second. Some AOC monitors can boost to 165 frames per second from a 144 frames per second monitor. Surely and most definitely, an HDMI 1.2 or, I believe, but unsure, also, an HDMI 1.4 cable @ 1080p monitors cannot handle this 144 and 165 frames per second refresh rate. Question:	Does this work on windows 10 pro? I just received it and also downloaded the latest display link software. It does not turn on at all
Answer:	No they do not. I did try plugging my phone in to charge and turned off monitor and the phone stopped charging. But if you are looking for a good monitor I highly recommend.
Question:	Does this monitor work with Mac? The listing says it does, but several commenters have said it doesn't have the right driver
Answer:	Nvidia announced this week (1/10/2019) that select Freesync monitors will be certified as G-Sync compatible. Support will be rolled out on the 1/15/2019 driver update for certain models of Nvidia GPUs. Check with Nvidia before you purchase your new Freesync monitor to verify that it is on it's compatibility list. Per Nvidia, testing will continue with Freesync monitors from multiple vendors, and the compatibility list will be updated accordingly.
Question:	Question for Seller only: Does the refirbished display include the carry case? I am seeing conflicting information
Answer:	Adaptive Sync is just the standard term for AMD's branded "FreeSync". the VESA association (the group who created and define the displayport standard) created Adaptive Sync as part of the DisplayPort 1.2a spec, AMD simply calls it FreeSync for marketing reasons. Sadly even though there is no technical reason why, Adaptive Sync will not work on Nvidia GPU's. The actual reason for that is Nvidia created and owns G-sync and makes a profit from every G-sync monitor sold. So you can probably guess why they have not added Adaptive Sync support to their GPU's even though its a industry standard, and even though their hardware can support it (at least any Pascal card with DisplayPort could) with a simple driver and/or maybe VGA BIOS update. But Nvidia has to much of a financial interest in G-sync. It bums me out as well since I just bought a very nice 1440p IPS monitor that supports Adaptive Sync and can't use that feature since I have a GTX 1080, but if I had a Vega 64 or any other somewhat recent AMD GPU I could.

Answer:	It does work with Mac, but is not immediately plug-and-play. You have to download the DisplayLink software first: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macos I found I had to plug in the second USB dongle to get the driver to install. Once that's done you shouldn't need the second dongle anymore. Once the driver installs you have to go into System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Screen Recording and make sure the DisplayLinkUserAgent listing is checked. If you happen upon the right discussion thread on their support page it helps if you get stuck. They're support people do respond back within a day if you Contact DisplayLink https://support.displaylink.com/ There's a lot of rebooting the computer involved and it requires a lot of patience, but once you get it going it's a great monitor.
