Answer:	on a mac, you really need to run it at the full 4k resolution of 3840x2160. if you scale it to a lower resolution to get larger text, the graphics card has to work much harder than it should. in Activity Monitor (looking at the GPU history window), you will see very little work being done by the graphics card at 4k. when i scaled down to a slightly lower resolution, my GPU utilization was around 50%. i wasn't even video editing. i was just writing code. that's the only issue. i use it with an imac. works perfectly.

Answer:	To expand on the other answers: Yes the monitor supports VESA mounting (100x100) and yes the recessed mounting points make it a pain if your mounting plate is slightly too big. The depth of the recessed cavity is ~7mm (which is just a hair over 1/4th inch) so plan on ordering spacers that are, at minimum, that wide. The monitor's mounting holes require M4 bolts/screws, so make sure to order a kit with M4 screws and with enough length to compensate for the addition of the spacer.

Answer:	Those ppl have no idea what they are talking about, it has nothing to do with gpu. This is not a true 10-bit panel it's 8-bit + FRC so it's gonna show up in W10 as 8bit

Answer:	The Thunderbolt connection carries a Display Port signal and Display Port has a greater maximum possible specs than HDMI. Problem is, that tells you nothing about what your computer is capable of via either connection. Some graphics cards can do 4K @ 60Hz. Some can only do 4K @ 30 Hz. Often they’ll have different limits via HDMI vs Display Port. About the best thing you can do is check the manufacturers web site and see which they say to use. You need to know what your computer can do before you can know if a particular connection type can deliver it or if a cable is causing a problem. In practice, you’re likely to get 4K @ 60Hz from either one. 🤷 So if you’ve got a USB C to Display Port cable handy, give it a try. Then try an HDMI cable. Check with each to see what connection your computer is making with the display, particularly refresh rate. I’d expect the Display Port to give you 4K @ 60 Hz, but some older HDMI cables might only give you 4K @ 30Hz or only give you 60Hz at less than 4K resolution.

Answer:	Chroma Subsampling of 4:4:4 is supported for 4K @ 60 Hz and runs at 17.82Gbps, but only with the default 8-bit BT.709 color. That’s the same color gamut as 720p and 1080i/p. The whole point of HDR is to increase color volume, which it can’t do unless there’s first an increased color gamut. That means stepping up to BT.2020, which in turn means 10- or 12-bit deep color. The HDMI 2.0 spec also calls for a minimum 10-bit color with BT.2020. From a menu where 4K is the main dish, and 60fps, 4:4:4 and HDR are the three side options, you can only choose two.
