Answer:	I work editing videos and watch 4K videos with my drones and this has to ve the best Monitor out there to date. That being said the main reason I purchased was for its compatability with my Macbook Pro AND when you buy the best it will last you for years and years before needing to buy another monitor.

Answer:	If you look at the video on the product and FF to 3:50 in the Game Mode Settings it has an option called 1ms Motion Blur Reduction.

Answer:	Chroma Subsampling of 4:4:4 is supported for 4K @ 60 Hz and runs at 17.82Gbps, but only with the default 8-bit BT.709 color. That’s the same color gamut as 720p and 1080i/p. The whole point of HDR is to increase color volume, which it can’t do unless there’s first an increased color gamut. That means stepping up to BT.2020, which in turn means 10- or 12-bit deep color. The HDMI 2.0 spec also calls for a minimum 10-bit color with BT.2020. From a menu where 4K is the main dish, and 60fps, 4:4:4 and HDR are the three side options, you can only choose two. Answer:	Does not fit my versa mount, just a little too narrow. FAIL
Question:	Are the blacks deep?? Or does it have bad ips glow
Answer:	Comparing with my macbook pro retina, I can say that the black seems to be pretty accurate. However, note that this is not a glossy display like the Macbook/ Apple Thunderbolt display, So the blacks are not as 'deep'. I switched from a Thunderbolt display and like the matte screen better as it has less/negligible reflection.
Question:	Does the monitor wake up when you plug in a closed macbook or do you have to open your macbook for the monitor to turn on
Answer:	It depends on whether your MacBook is awake or not. If it's closed it will likely be in sleep mode so when you connect it to the monitor (I use a mini displayport to displayport connection) the monitor wakes from power save mode to say it has no signal (because your MacBook is asleep). If you've just recently closed your MacBook and connect it to the monitor, the monitor will light up with your desktop (because your MacBook hasn't gone to sleep yet).If what you're really asking if you can connect the monitor to the laptop and start using it with a Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad without having to open the laptop, then the answer is "yes." I usually use this monitor with my MacBook closed and I wake them both at the same time by typing on my Bluetooth keyboard or tapping on my Bluetooth trackpad. You need to have this feature turned on in the Bluetooth section of System Preferences on your MacBook for this to work though.

Answer:	I had the exact same question in September when I was looking for a new monitor. I went to LG's website and found that both monitors had the exact same specs. (The only difference between the spec sheets is merely linguistic--one has "Radeon Freesync" and the other has "AMD Freesync," which are the same thing). I decided to go with the 27UN850 instead of the 27 UL850 on the off chance there were minor improvements to the internals, but, again, I couldn't find any difference on the spec sheets.

Answer:	It's has an anti glare coating. The coating is matte but can cause a slight glare if viewed from the side.

Answer:	This only runs things at 60hz, some monitors can do 144, but it comes at a premium. Only get the 144hz 4k if you know what you are doing. Most (and I mean most) setups cannot run it, but currently a Dual SLI 1070 and 1080 can. The bad thing about this, is that many things do not support dual Sli.

As for display settings, they are all adjustable in the System Preferences Display settings. Everything works great with my Mac. Love this display.
