Answer:	It is more like the mesh letter trays, but has a hollow bottom with just metal edges. It has rubber cushion feet on the bottom corners. It doesn't move around much because of the weight of my printer on it. I haven't had any problems with it scratching my desk top and I have slid it around plenty of times, but if you are worried about scratching your surface, you could put some thicker rubber or felt feet on the bottom corners to make sure that there is absolutely no chance of it doing so.

Answer:	Entirely depends on what games and how you want to play. 1440p and 4K are great for cinematic, but if you are competitive and want to play siege/cod or any FPS where how something reacts vs how something looks is more important, then I would say 1080 at 144hz, 1 ms response is your best option. I just went through a 4K and 1440p and this monitor is what’s worked the best for me (destiny trials of Osiris)

I used a hand stitcher for leather and sails and it worked. Can do it by hand but would be a hard push and would need a good thimble. Answer:	Yes you still get 144hz you just don't get freesync. Just make sure you are using a cord that supports 144 ie: Dvi. not hdmi.
