Answer:	Not sure what "a 15" is. it worked on a Macbook Air with a smooth case. Unfortunately, it has a significant amount of clear cling around the tree that DOES show and takes away from the graphic. I was disappointed. It's shiny and causes a glare but isn't shown in the ad pic.

Answer:	First, please understand that I do not have an iPad 9.7 to really see. However, I will offer you my theoretical ideas given what I do know. The application is exactly 9.5 inches wide from point to point and the height is just under 5 inches top to bottom. The published dimensions of the iPad 9.7 are an overall height of 9.4” and width of 6.6”. Therefore, theoretically it could fit if applied vertically along it's height. Also, if you wanted to apply it horizontally across the width, you could likely trim the sides (or remove one of the sides) before applying. However, without the ability to actually try it, I would offer the following thoughts: 1) I really like mine and often get compliments from others so apply it vertically along the height and enjoy, 2) it might be worth a try to alter the decal for the economical price, or 3) that you look for something similar (or even contact the company) to find something specific designed if you don't want to potentially purchase and alter something that perhaps does not fit your current need.
