Question:	Is this stable if you want to hold it on your lap
Answer:	No, I don't think it would work well on your lap. The laptop isn't secured to the stand, and there isn't enough of a base to make it stable on a non-flat, shifting surface. It works extremely well on a flat, stable surface, however.
Question:	Will this work for a 17" HP notebook
Answer:	I have used the stand for other 17" notebooks but not with the HP 17" - i use it for my macbook 15". There are two things you need to consider:1. Max tilt angle of the screen i.e. screen fold back from the body - if its greater than equal to 135 degrees (max on the macbook), then the viewing angle works. Any less, it's not likely to be ergonomic. 2. Is the weight distribution of the HP evenly weighted at the base or weighted to the rear of the machine. If even, then it should work, however, if most of the weight is to the rear, it might be unstable as portion of the rear will stick out from the top of the stand.
Question:	Will this work will for a 13" Macbook
Answer:	Yes absolutely. No problem. It is very nice and I've used it with 13, 15 and 17"

Answer:	If you can open your laptop to 180 degrees, you can set the base to its most veritical setting. The footprint for that is 8.5"w x 9"d. The depth will be longer as you lower the vertical setting.

Answer:	From memory, they are about 3 to 5 inches high, depending on the shape, but all are quite small. I think they are a good size for party favours or a group activity. I didn’t have them long enough to check carefully. Hope that helps.

Answer:	0 MB of RAM. This isn't a laptop - it's a privacy screen for a laptop.

Answer:	I don't think so. We use a different cleaner for our lcd.

Answer:	Yes, but this is an expensive option for that. I usually use general disinfectant wipes for keyboard or outer body of electronics and save these specially for lcd screens.
Question:	Do these work for just Macbooks or can it work with HPs
Answer:	It contains isopropyl alcohol but does not indicate the concentration. I found this on the web: "Isopropyl alcohol, particularly in solutions between 60% and 90% alcohol with 10 – 40% purified water, is rapidly antimicrobial against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Once alcohol concentrations drop below 50%, usefulness for disinfection drops sharply." My guess? It's not enough to disinfect effectively.
Question:	Does this work well on touchscreens
Answer:	Yes, these should be fine for smartphone screens in addition to computer monitor screens (smartphone screens are generally more resilient). Furthemore, these wipes should be fine for most surfaces, e.g., keyboards, computer bezels, etc. (in other words: plastic). You might want to check before using them on anything containing rubber, though that is purely conjecture, on my part.I have been pleased with this product. I intentionally sought individually wrapped wipes. While they are a tad more wasteful than bulk wipes, I had a package of bulk wipes dry out on me while much of the container was still left.

Question:	Would this work as an ajustable stand for a projector
Answer:	Absolutely! This is amazing and VERY easy to use! Just lift to where you want it. To drop it back and under the desk you simply tilt the keyboard forward and down which releases it to drop (hold onto your mouse). It really is pretty sweet and is the best and most versatile keyboard tray we have found and has now become our standard install around here. You really get an incredible range of work height placement and tilt too, plus easy install. It really is that great!
Question:	Is this sturdy enough to type on and use the laptop when on the stand? I will not be using an external keyboard or mouse
Answer:	It's pretty solid, much more so than it looks. Could you make it wobble if you really wanted to? I suppose, but it's pretty stable in normal use. That said, I found myself using the keyboard with the tray resting on my lap, which doesn't wobble at all.
Question:	Which material is made from
Answer:	If you have a composite/particle board/"manufactured wood" desk - screw and glue a piece of 1/2" plywood slightly larger than the mounting plate to the surface where you want to mount this. Make sure it is well secured. Weight the plywood until the glue dries because screws won't hold well enough in fake wood to be sure of holding this together tight until the glue has dried.Make sure no screws are blocking where you need to mount the plate.When it has thoroughly dried - I'd wait a minimum of 24 hours, 48 might be better to be on the safe side, depending on what sort of glue or epoxy you used, follow the instructions - mount to that piece of plywood. This is the ONLY way you can mount a keyboard tray like this to fake wood products.If your 1/2" thick desk is real wood - real, solid wood - the same trick will work but it will be easier, more solid, won't require weighting (wood screws can tighten up enough in real wood to provide sufficient pressure where they tend to pull out of composites), and will last for-ever. Or at least for the lifetime of the desk.

Question:	Will this privacy filter work with a Dell Latitude 7390 2in
Answer:	I have owned both Std and Gold, and yes the Gold is "Glossy" on both sides but one side is black the other side is Gold. I prefer the Gold side over the black as it does provide higher rejection compared with the black side, but setting the angle is more important as you can reflect major light into some one's eyes as it can be like a mirror, sometimes I'll flip the screen over to avoid that in very sunny locations but in-doors the Gold is awesome and you can use it to see if someone is behind you scouting you out too. :) LoL But the Std black matt on one side and glossy on the other does cause light diffusion with a very minor loss of sharpness, hence why I like the Gold over the Std for those two reasons. Hope this helps...

Answer:	I have the sticky tabs mounted on the computer so they overhang the screen. The filter lifts in and out quickly. I can easily remove the filter temporarily when I need to be able to share my laptop screen with others.

Answer:	Yes, if you tape a wifi modem to it. Otherwise, it is capable of transmitting the image of what your dialup modem is showing.

Answer:	My intended use was on a laptop. But, this question had me curious. So, I removed it from the laptop and placed it on a tablet. I was able to use the tablet with the filter on it. I was able to click, group select, click and drag, type, multiple finger input (like zooming in and out of pictures), etc. Every function on the tablet worked just as it was supposed to even with the filter installed on the tablet. If by "touchscreens" you mean a tablet surface, then yes this 3M Gold Privacy filter works well on touchscreens.
