Answer: You can install the privacy screen on a new monitor if you use the plastic tab mounting option, allowing the privacy filter to slide on and off. However, the plastic tabs may lose some of their adhesiveness. Question: the size is not quite right and I would need to cut it down, can this be cut
Answer: The problem is some rather simple physics.... Corks (and wine bottle openings) are NOT all the same (variances of a few millimeters can cause a smaller cork - to NOT extract). I generally TILT the W040 a bit while inserting the screw to make the extraction work (but it does NOT always work (then, I insert a knife point into the cork to hold it from rotating while extracting the cork).... we LOVE our W040 as it has lasted far longer than others!!!!

Answer: Hi Carolyn, No problem with over charging. You cannot replace the battery, it is designed to have so many charges then you throw it away. My last one lasted over two years but it will depend upon how much you use it.
Question: Can the filter be trimmed to fit
Answer: Absolutely, this has the best motor of all. Sometimes a cork will get stuck at the top inside, which just takes a knife to hold the cork still as the worm reverses.
