Answer:	Your 15.6" HP should fit fine. I have a 17" and it hangs over a little but it's not awkward or unbalanced. I really like this Thermaltake because it measures the temperature in four quadrants of your notebook. I never realized how hot it was getting under there. It does sit rather high up, so your notebook will be elevated (just measured it -- not quite 2") but I got used to it pretty quickly. It doesn't turn automatically when the computer boots up like my last cooling fan bed did, but that's the only draw back. Just remember to turn it on. I have the fans constantly on. Very quiet too.

Question:	can you turn the lights off
Answer:	Great question, which never occurred to me until you asked: the answer is "no." The only way I can see to turn those blue lights off is to cut the fans off as well. If there is a switch somewhere, I haven't found it. There are two USB inputs on the cooling pad (not sure why), and the lights come on when I turn it on no matter which one I plug into. The USB simply works for "juice" and doesn't even register when you try to see the cooling pad through the PC's properties/management/settings/file explorer features. A light switch would be a definite asset to the pad, and this model doesn't have it.

Answer:	Just tested it. Previously, my 17" gaming laptop would instantly die after 20 minutes of playing X-Plane 10. I have the kick stands up on this cooler, and though I hardly have ventilation on the bottom of my laptop, the cooler kept it cool enough that I played for an hour and my laptop kept running full speed. I actually quit the game intentionally this time. Haha. Even the top of the laptop is noticeably cooler (still hot, just not scorching anymore).

Answer:	Congrats on your msi gaming laptop! The physical measurement is 11" x 15". I don't know why it states 15.6" x 17". My custom Lenovo Y700 fits it exactly at 11" x 15". This unit will raise a laptop and circulate air underneath it but I would say that if you're looking for a fan to literally cool your system down for optimal performance I don't know if this is the right one for you. I've seen others on eBay with 5 fans. I am happy with this one but I'm not running my laptop for several hours while gaming. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The USB cord is not that great. I haven't had mine very long and I loved this cooling pad but I've since noticed that the wires are all of sudden exposed at the plug point and it no longer works because they have become disconnected. My cooling pad and laptop literally sit on a table and never move. Disappointed.

Answer:	Probably not as well as you'd think. Realistically, this thing would even have issues with a 15" notebook. A 17" notebook would end up covering up the intake part of the system, and even a 15" would do that partially. This thing was more or less made for a 13" laptop, and that's it.

Question:	Does this paste hold the heat sink on its own on a Blackberrys Pi device? How much time does it take to cure to hold the heat sink like a glue
Answer:	This isn't a thermal glue so it wont hold well after it dries. Pi devices usually don't produce enough heat to need more than a little air flow. Are you sure you need a heat sink? Check out Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive. That will work better than this for adhesion.
Question:	How long will thermal compound paste last for a computer repair technician? will it finish fast? as the tube looks so small
Answer:	The tube may look small, but considering the amount you need, you could easily cover more than a couple dozen CPUs (depending on the size of your CPU, of course)! You only need to apply very, very little and then spread the paste evenly. I noticed that a pea-sized blob of paste may already be too much because a lot of the material sticks to the tool! I do not recommend the method where you put a blob in the middle of the CPU and then apply the heat sink on top of it hoping that the paste would spread out on its own: a) the paste may not spread evenly and therefore might create hot spots; b) you may waste material which would only run beyond the borders of the CPU. The manufacturer claims an 8-year durability. I can't comment about that since I haven't used it that long.
Question:	Roughly how many applications will you get out of one tube
Answer:	I still have more than half of a 4g tube left, 4 years after I bought it - it has an eight year shelf life, IIRC... I haven't kept track for certain, but I think I've done at least 5 applications or more and still have half a tube left. Crazy thing is right now, for $1 less, you can buy the 8g tube from Amazon directly rather than the 4g tube from the other seller - seems a no brainer. Great stuff.

Note, that the fans are not movable in any direction, so it might be wise to consider a model, where you can regulate the exact position of the fan, so it is enhancing the airflow to the laptop.

Answer:	I have an older version of this product and have been able to use it on my lap without any serious issues. Over time the frame can become uncomfortable on the thighs but it is not slip-slidey or anything and the adjustable height is nice for different comfort positions.
Question:	why is this having 2 USB ports
Answer:	It looks like one port is to supply power to it and the second is to permit you to chain a USB device such as a mouse of a cell phone. Why did they go for the funky typeA to typeA rather than a more normal microusb? No clue, but as confusing as it is it does appear to work. To be clear, for the purpose of plugging USB devices into it, there is only ONE port, the second is to provide power to the fans.
Question:	is there a way to turn the lights off? while fans still run
Answer:	NO!! This is very misleading. There is NO WAY to turn off the FAN LEDs. Holding the + only turns off the two "decorative" blue lights down by the display, but the fan LEDs stay on.
Question:	Can it suck a golfball through a garden hose
Answer:	It depends upon the mass of the golf ball and the length and diameter of the hose. I personally conducted testing to determine whether it could in fact do so. The results were somewhat disappointing with a standard-sized garden hose (1" diameter and 50-foot length), and a PGA regulation golf ball. However, results were more favorable when using a Nerf brand golf ball, and a six-inch long stretch of 4-inch diameter PVC ventilation hose. Now, if you seriously want to know whether this device works as advertised, I would say definitely yes. I am using it 24x7 to cool a TiVo Bolt whose design makes it tend to run very hot, and it has reduced the operating temperature significantly.

Answer:	Cannot turn light off when the fan(s) are running. Do not know if you already have one (I was thinking the same thing b4 I bought one), but you barely, barely can see the lights. So I do not think there is a need to turn them off (remember they are LED, so use almost no power). Be sure not to purchase a fan that is larger than is needed.

Answer:	Yes it will work for an Asus G751 17.3 ROG laptop. It holds mine up easily and I can apply pressure on top without it feeling as though it will collapse. Front feet on the laptop have about 3/8" of extra room and the back have about 1".

Answer:	I use it on my lap and it's fine. I will admit I bought it in April 2019 and the bar across the back but if you use it flat on your lap you won't have that problem.
Question:	Is it ok to use on the bed
Answer:	I bought one of these and it works great. However, I found that my old "rigged" setup worked even better. I got a cookie sheet a little longer than the laptop and two of those little bins you buy at Bed Bath and Beyond to hold knives and forks. I turned them upside down and put one at each end. This gave enough height from the bottom of the tray to put one of those square blue ice packs (I keep six of them in the freezer), and leave a gap of about 1/2", so the laptop is not sitting on the blue ice pack. Then, after buying this, I put it on top of the bins and it is great for the adjustability (especially if you are in bed), but for some reason it did not work quite as well. So I'm wondering if a plain adjustable mesh stand without the fans would work as well. I think I'm going to put this in my stroller bag for when I leave the house with the laptop and try a plain stand. I don't THINK moisture is getting into the computer the way I have it set up (wrap the blue ice pack in a thin small towel), but that may end up being a consideration. I guess I will see. I bought a very cheap refurbished laptop and I guess maybe some might not want to take the chance, though. I feel in my case it's worth a try because I don't have a real expensive laptop.
Question:	Can the lights be turned off
Answer:	I agree with previous answer. If you turn off the lights, the fans go off also. But you don't notice the lights, at least not with other lights on. I use mine in an office setting with regular overhead lights on and I don't notice any glow. If used in a dark setting, I suspect you would notice the lights though.
