Answer:	I have an older version of this product and have been able to use it on my lap without any serious issues. Over time the frame can become uncomfortable on the thighs but it is not slip-slidey or anything and the adjustable height is nice for different comfort positions.
Question:	why is this having 2 USB ports
Answer:	It looks like one port is to supply power to it and the second is to permit you to chain a USB device such as a mouse of a cell phone. Why did they go for the funky typeA to typeA rather than a more normal microusb? No clue, but as confusing as it is it does appear to work. To be clear, for the purpose of plugging USB devices into it, there is only ONE port, the second is to provide power to the fans.
Question:	is there a way to turn the lights off? while fans still run
Answer:	NO!! This is very misleading. There is NO WAY to turn off the FAN LEDs. Holding the + only turns off the two "decorative" blue lights down by the display, but the fan LEDs stay on.
Question:	Can it suck a golfball through a garden hose
Answer:	It depends upon the mass of the golf ball and the length and diameter of the hose. I personally conducted testing to determine whether it could in fact do so. The results were somewhat disappointing with a standard-sized garden hose (1" diameter and 50-foot length), and a PGA regulation golf ball. However, results were more favorable when using a Nerf brand golf ball, and a six-inch long stretch of 4-inch diameter PVC ventilation hose. Now, if you seriously want to know whether this device works as advertised, I would say definitely yes. I am using it 24x7 to cool a TiVo Bolt whose design makes it tend to run very hot, and it has reduced the operating temperature significantly.

Question:	I read that the base of the frame is easy to crack as the tilt slots have deep notches. How bad is this
Answer:	Have had mine 40 days, just cracked. definitely try to avoid touching the bottom piece as it is extremely fragile. It does cool well however with all fans on. Good if you plan on using it on an even desk. Wouldn't use it in bed however as uneven pressure on the thin bottom piece will crack it.

Answer:	I’m not really sure because they are covered by my laptop so I don’t see them. When the fans are turned off you don’t see them and when it’s running I don’t see them because they’re underneath my laptop. I don’t see any glow or anything like that from them but I do notice a significant amount of cooling that I never got from other Laptop cooling pads that I had tried.

Answer:	Yes. If you hold down the button that changes the light patterns it will turn the lights off. The "power" button however turns the fans off but not the lights. So you can have either just the lights on or just the fans on or have both on.

Answer:	No. The cap is threaded and very secure when capped. When in use (for writing that is!) you essentially have to hold the cap in your hand or put in pocket. Answer:	Cannot turn light off when the fan(s) are running. Do not know if you already have one (I was thinking the same thing b4 I bought one), but you barely, barely can see the lights. So I do not think there is a need to turn them off (remember they are LED, so use almost no power). Be sure not to purchase a fan that is larger than is needed.
