Answer:	Cannot turn light off when the fan(s) are running. Do not know if you already have one (I was thinking the same thing b4 I bought one), but you barely, barely can see the lights. So I do not think there is a need to turn them off (remember they are LED, so use almost no power). Be sure not to purchase a fan that is larger than is needed.

It's just power going from your computer to the pad, and nothing going the other way. This is the one I have...I run 2 extended displays, usb mouse and keyboard, plus charge my phone. Answer:	Yes it will work for an Asus G751 17.3 ROG laptop. It holds mine up easily and I can apply pressure on top without it feeling as though it will collapse. Front feet on the laptop have about 3/8" of extra room and the back have about 1".
Question:	Is this ok to use in your lap
Answer:	I use it on my lap and it's fine. I will admit I bought it in April 2019 and the bar across the back but if you use it flat on your lap you won't have that problem.
Question:	Is it ok to use on the bed
Answer:	I bought one of these and it works great. However, I found that my old "rigged" setup worked even better. I got a cookie sheet a little longer than the laptop and two of those little bins you buy at Bed Bath and Beyond to hold knives and forks. I turned them upside down and put one at each end. This gave enough height from the bottom of the tray to put one of those square blue ice packs (I keep six of them in the freezer), and leave a gap of about 1/2", so the laptop is not sitting on the blue ice pack. Then, after buying this, I put it on top of the bins and it is great for the adjustability (especially if you are in bed), but for some reason it did not work quite as well. So I'm wondering if a plain adjustable mesh stand without the fans would work as well. I think I'm going to put this in my stroller bag for when I leave the house with the laptop and try a plain stand. I don't THINK moisture is getting into the computer the way I have it set up (wrap the blue ice pack in a thin small towel), but that may end up being a consideration. I guess I will see. I bought a very cheap refurbished laptop and I guess maybe some might not want to take the chance, though. I feel in my case it's worth a try because I don't have a real expensive laptop.

Answer:	I agree with previous answer. If you turn off the lights, the fans go off also. But you don't notice the lights, at least not with other lights on. I use mine in an office setting with regular overhead lights on and I don't notice any glow. If used in a dark setting, I suspect you would notice the lights though.

Answer:	The holding tabs do stick up beyond the laptop but you can push them at an angle so as to hold your laptop and not be in the way. This is what I do.

Answer:	Yes, easily carried. Have bought several cooling pads over time, this one is by far the best. Don't use it in my lap, since my 'lap time' with my computer is not extended periods of time. However, this cooling pad could sit comfortably in your lap, it is extremely light weight. Great purchase.
Question:	can the lights be turned off on this
Answer:	Just got this and I'll be returning it due to the blue lights. The lights are too bright and cast a blue light up the side of my wall like a disco light. It seems that you can't turn the lights off, very misleading.

Answer:	You can get a non Apple product it won't overheat with the same level of use. Overheating in your MacBook is due to the lack of cooling and the processor is not usable to the specifications provided by the company over long periods of time. It will likely not be helped much by the cooling pad. The MacBook was designed to throttle.
Question:	How do i charge this thing or does it have its own power cord
Answer:	This cooling pad is powered by a usb cord; you need to have a vacant usb port ready to be plugged in run the cooling pad.
Question:	Can you turn off the led lights? are the leds distracting or flashy
Answer:	No, you can not turn off the LED lighting. There are 2 LEDs per fan so 10 LEDs in all. The brightness of the LEDs adjust with the fan speed control so lower fan speed lower LED lighting. No the LEDs do not flash. With the laptop placed on top of the cooling pad you really don't notice the lights. It might bother someone else not using the laptop. I've experienced a 10 degree C lower temperature reading on my CPU and Motherboard using this cooling pad which was my reason for purchasing it.
